The cockpit is where the nose should be. As an assault with a giant head on par with the Atlas, the eye slits should be sufficient for vision.

I have never seen this artistic take on the head. It was a nose wasn't it? We see the side profile shot in the original 3050 TRO. TRO:3050U somewhat resembles a window, but it is certainly not definitive.

I agree with your assessment. There should be a nose in the middle of that face, and I prefer that look. But the look it has now is pretty menacing and does homage the original face quite nicely.

I think a nose would look stupid.

Now its like a skull.

I agree with Brody.

Why the hell does a Mech need a nose?

The only thing that worries me is the "jaw" below the "mouth". This is the sort of thing that looks alright on paper, but that I think the 3D designers can easily fumble up completely, like how they fumbled up the "fat chinese kid" Gargoyle and the Enforcer's head.

It doesn't look that bad on the non-prime variants, the problem is the unique geometry was a much more rounded look giving it a pug face.

Just wait, the pilot will be sitting like 6 feet back so you have almost zero peripheral vision unless you want to look at the skybox.

The only Problem I have is the sweet blue glow they gave the cockpit in the art. I doubt they will add it, but It looks really awesome.

It has a nose because it adds to its ugly menacing uglyness.

The same reason shark's teeth were added to the noses of numerous aircraft, or the faces of tigers being painted onto the front glacis of tanks. To intimidate. Plus I think it just looks cool.

That's actually my favorite rendition of the Executioner.

Probably the most ridiculous looking Clan Omnimech I've ever seen to be honest.

It was probably inspired partly by the MW4 version:

I dunno. I think the concept has more flavors of Mautty's posted pic, particularly with the mouth/jaw. And even the crotch.

I cant think of one piece of original BT artwork that I thought looked good..except maybe the shadowcat.

I sometimes wish I could take MWO's concept art back in time to when they were first creating BT, and tell them "Use this!"
