Hey Bros! I plan to have some regular MekTek Mech night shoot em ups in Mercs for any that want to have some fun like we did in the "good old days". Grab MekTeks free mercs game, if you don't have it already, and fire it up to knock the rust off before the MWO release. Details on the AKA website. I hope to see ya there! <S>

I'm definitely down with playing some Mercs. I missed ya the other night, but will keep an eye open for the next night ur server is up in the AKA forums. Even though Mercs will be quite a bit different than MWO some of the basics will be there and if anything can at least practice up on moving one direction while torso-twisting and firing another. Know that will at least be in MWO

MW4 server should still be up weekdays during the day.
If you're an MWO Founder and in AKA or a Founder and interested in joining AKA get on our Teamspeak! A couple of us AKA MWO Founders group up at night and play the game and would love to see more at the party!

Well, I am about two weeks from having my new system built and the time to play. It's good to see so many of my old friends ready to jump back in the saddle and smoke some metal. For those of you who are new to MW or just new to organized play, I would like to answer a few of the questions that I have read. As Ammo stated, we do hold practice/ trianning sessions, we tend to be focused on a few main points. The first is continuosly building the unit, so invite your friends and folks you meet to join us. The next area is that we are serious about not just having a good time, but learning from each other and ensuring that skills are impoved.
To that end we hold training to ensure people are ready for lance assignments, and that they can hold their own on the battlefield. This means you have to put in the time and do the best you can to learn the basics. As this is a team sport, we really focus on ensuring that no one is on their own. Lastly, but probably the most important, is that membership here is about friendship. While some may be in leadership positions, we maintain a very strict code of how we treat each other, and that we show each other the respect we each desirve. Membership means having the ability to voice your opinion wihtout the fear of reprisals. To this end, we are all "brothers or sisters" here, we are "family" and we watch each others backs.
So if all this sounds like something your looking for, or if you think this is something that you feel others should know about, then by all means drop us a line, and spread th word. In MW4 we had a fighting force of 62 members at the height of our play, and I would like to see if we can beat that this time. There is a lot of work, and a lot of fun coming our way, so strap in, power up and prepare for the fight of your gaming life!

Hey! SHYBORG here. Some of ya' may remember me from the HG2 days. I was officially recruited as AKA during a resurgance, but never was too active. Life still is nutz, but I just got accepted into the Beta (not sure how hard that is these days) and was hoping there was still a spot for me on the team... in MWO this time?
BTW, I also have been accepted to Hawken testing, too. Dunno where AKA stands on that one yet. Just thought I'd mention it.
