I am interested in AKA, I work weekends so I am available most every week night....

I have been in (MW4) Black Scorpions and (MW4) United Knights...

I Enjoy lights, heavy, and assaults (really depends on the situation).

We are kinda sorta looking... I mean, we have a roster of 40+ but always enjoy playing with new folks... if ya wanna have fun in a pressure free environment... give us a look.

If you want pressure... well I suppose we can do that too....

Hi Guys,

What is the current status of recruitment and forum activity for AKA? I'm a long time follower of Mechwarrior, played the first PC game a great deal and have recently rediscovered MW in the form of MWO. I've been very active in the game over the past month (mastered 2 mechs) and I'm looking for a more organized kind of game play. Is there a specific site URL that I should visit that provides some detailed information about this group?

Hey there Arcticfox9! (nice name btw :huh: ) We are always looking for new friends to play the game with, as for forum activity, some of us scan them regularly.
You can visit our webpage at Posted Image [color="#b27204"]http://arcticknightalliance.guildlaunch.com[/color] . If you want to give us a try, register on the website. From there you can get our TS3 info and pop on coms with us. We have a widget on our home page that shows who is on Teamspeak so you know there are folks to play with (or be the first on and they will come heh). We have folks on every night and at all hours so there is usually someone around to play with.

Ah. That's good. I don't know if Canadians are that different from Americans though (hopefully no one kills me for saying that). What's really interesting for me is that PGI is a few blocks away from me. I get to hear a lot of opinions about what people think of the game dev approach of Vancouver.

Well, I got my new system all liquid cooled and loaded out to play. I have been in game for two days now and its almost like old times. I sure feel rusty after all the time spent sitting around, and now I feel like I am playing catch up to remember what being a pilot was like. I look forward to seeing everyone on the battlefield.

On a side note, for those who have been here and are taking a break till the next beta update, any words of wisdom that you might have to help others would be greatly appreciated in our private forums. Lets get that started so that we have a place to teach new or younger pilots the ropes so they can get more proficient as quickly as possible.

Hey Pheno, great to hear ur awesome system is up and running and look forward to fighting with you.

I've been taking a break, little burned out, but will be returning soon (maybe even tonight). I've been pretty regular posting on our AKA forums, but maybe you could make a sticky for tips for new players and we can start posting in it. Forums are pretty sweet and lots of features I haven't seen before like seeing who is on Teamspeak at any given time.

Been playing with [AKA] since October and it's a great group of folks, pretty laid back on comms.

We have players at all skill levels so feel free to drop by our TS3 and play a few rounds with us if you are interested in joining.
