Who's responsible for Crossfire profiles, PGI or AMD?

I'm reading up on Crossfire, and since it was how I intended to upgrade my graphics (Cheaper to add on than replace completely) I'm a little worried.

Seems like most games scale really poorly in CF or SLI until somebody creates a profile for the game, patches something, or fixes a driver thing.

I have no idea what any of that means.

Is MWO going to be optimized for SLI/CF before "launch?" (not necessarily before 8/7/12, since I know that's not the "real" launch) or will it require AMD to be involved?

Well, its already coded for the engine, and scaling is quite good in crysis 2. So i would have to say.... maybe.

As far as pointing fault, you have to either blame both, at least if there are problems.
