But doesn't this thread apply to itself and therefore makes itself applicable? In essence by relating its own non-applicable state in so far as it is now an applicable message defined by being a message that applies to the non-applicable nature of the message then the message it applies towards, by its very nature, is redefined as being applicable? Having said that if you change this message to being applicable to rectify the non-applicable paradox then the message, wherein it is written that it is applicable, once again becomes no longer applicable.

Does your response not alter the applicability of the original post, giving it context and therefore making it non-applicable to the original thread?

I must admit I feel some distress at making the thread both applicable and non-applicable at the same time.
