Hi,
I've been using the Timberwolf, Stormcrow along with other mechs for some time. Recently, I've unlocked the Summoner, but it is just lacking in the tonnage available for it's armaments.
Please, make Endo-Steel up-gradable so the Summoner can compete with the rest of the clan mechs. Endo-Steel and the ability to remove a jump jet or two would greatly help the situation.
Considering the limited hard points of the Summoner, there is no need for the extra slots. It can easily afford to give up slots in return for the extra tonnage.
Even with the movement quirks, this mech has too many handicaps to make it competitive in CW without these changes.
Thank you

There's no reason this can't be added as an option, in a future patch.
It would help with the diversity of the mechs in CW.
Right now, very few people use Summoners in CW.
I feel if I use anything other than a Timberwolf, Stormcrow in CW, I'm doing a disservice to my teammates.

The Summoner doesn't need Endo-Steel any more than any other Omnimech that lacks ES. All it needs is for people to understand how to make the best of limited tonnage. There's nothing wrong with the 'Mech, it just needs the right pilots.

You can't make these types of upgrades with the Clan mechs because of the Omni-pods.
It's all or nothing for all the variants of a chassis.
Plus, this is one of the defining differences between the clan mechs and the IS mechs.

you can make these upgrades if you make the upgrades have fixed slots, also even if there would come a variant that does for example have whole arm occupied and endo off, and the new option to put on endo would mean using some of the arm slots, it just would display message "not enough slots" until you free up all space, same as for IS mechs
it is defining difference between scr+tbr and other clan mechs
