If there was such a warning, there would be 10 rage threads in these forums about having to click one extra time.

I like how you mixed 2 different things together. Typical.

There IS a warning.

Bottom left shows a total for the transaction, THENNNNNNNN you get the 'ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?" cue at the end.

I know. I rely on that little warning to not make dumb accidental purchases, so I am always on the lookout for it. In this case, I did not get the warning, which is why I was horrified to see 6 million c-bills wiped out suddenly. I would go test it again, but I don't want to wipe out more c-bills in a flash of laser-vapor.

If there was no warning, then there was an error and contact support.

It is not a waste, you got a seismic module which is a great module.. one that I have equipped on most of my active 'mechs. Once you have learnt how to use it, you start recovering your investment pretty quickly.

Yes, I know. It is a great module. I use it a lot, but now I have 2. I don't earn heaps of c-bills because I don't have a ton of time to grind on the game. So, I don't buy multiple modules. I just switch them around between mechs before making a drop.

Yep, I did it last night. Anyway, I'll just keep grinding slowly, regardless. I think the $90 or so I've spent on the game has been a great investment so far, considering the enjoyment I've gotten out of it. I just wanted to make sure that if there is some kind of bug, others know about it. To be fair, I could have just brain-farted on it and auto-clicked something stupid.

Yeah, Comatose just plays video games all the time and has no life outside. We understand.

Says the person with the 1 Percent title. :P

Come on, you know saying it takes 1-2 weeks to earn a million cbills is a ridiculous statement.

Launch a match, run into the enemy team, shoot as many as you can, die, exit match, start new match, repeat.

Try to get some games in on the weekends during these challenges. Fairly easy to earn the 2 million cbill challenge.

So, I'm a casual player and it makes me maybe 1-2 weeks to earn 1 million c-bills. I've slowly been grinding away on Hellbringers and had 10 million for my 3rd. Then tonight, by accident, I loaded a seismic sensor module on something. I thought I had removed it from the previous mech I had used, but nope... 6 million c-bills gone in a flash without any warning. What do I have to show for it? An extra seismic sensor and another month of grinding to get back enough c-bills to get that 3rd Hellbringer.

Anyway, it really sucks. I hope others take heed and be really careful around modules because if you are not careful, your hard earned c-bills will get wiped out in an instant, with no warning or recourse.

PGI, please consider adding one of those "Are you sure you want to purchase this" warnings for modules. They are really expensive for casual players.

Thanks.

Yet some of us have 8 seismic sensors so we don't have to do the module juggle

Wouldn't be as much of an issue if modules weren't ass reaming expensive.

What else would I spend my mech millions on?

You know Brandywine, if you bought your fish at a store it'd give you more time for MWO. ;-) On a more serious note, whenever you are equipping things that are not in your inventory, in the lower left hand corner is the running total of your changes. Also, I'm not sure that PGI will give you a refund because you spent c-bills, not MC.

Still, it won't hurt to try.

See you on the battlefield.
