Anyone remember the last mission where you have to Defeat Blake when he gets into that gigantic mech that still didnt have Legs installed so it had to use its arms to crawl around? Does anyone else think that the developers should place that mech into this game, this time with legs? Oh and one last thing, does anyone know what mech that was?

that guy was a ***** to bring down, i don't think that mech should be in game, it'd be waaaay too OP, unless you put it in as a PVE event or something.

it was terrible, no it shouldnt be brought into this game, no it shouldnt be given legs, and no it didnt have a name because it wasnt a real battletech mech. there were so many other things wrong with that game anyway. We've been using "the power of 5 cores" as a terrible joke for a reason.

What is Mech Assault?
And why has it a sequel?

I watched 2 videos of MechAssault on the back of this thread.

MechAssault should be forcibly wiped from the memory of everyone associated with it. It looks like a complete and utter abomination.

Once seen, it cannot be unseen... Not even Harmony Gold with a Copyright Infringement suit can make me unsee what I saw.

Mechassault was ok for it's time, it was aimed at the console crowd, and honestly if it had been something that WASN'T using the battletech name, it would have been good... But it's a bastardization of the battletech franchise.

For one, if memory serves, that mech has a weight of 120 tonnes.

Obviously, this means no. It doesn't even require a 'secondly.'

Eh, as much as I may have enjoyed the MechAssault games for just being battletech games to play, and mindless action, I wouldn't want to see that 'mech from the end in this game.
It kinda seemed like some sort of super Atlas to me.
What the hell would everyone do if House Steiner got their hands on it?
Scout lances would get an immortality upgrade. Imagine a bunch of those stomping around. As scouts. Scouts.

Why does anyone even want to remember Mech Assault ? Even Mech Warrior 2 had more plot and playability than Mech Assault.

Like it was earlier stated, Mech assault was a very console oriented game. What I really didn't like was what they did with some of the mechs was the reskins of the same mechs. It would have been easier to bring the Mechs like the Puma instead of having it as a reskinned Cougar. It would have made the game ten times more interesting. The games themselves were decent on console, but for PC it would inevitably fail.

May the power of the cores be with you.
One core to rule them all, one core to find them, one core to bind them and bring about a dark age in battletech history. The other core we dont speak of.

Jokes aside, that game was not really a "mechwarrior" or "battletech" product. The same way there are differences in what is cannon in mechwarrior as compared to the original source or primary source (battletech), mechassault is really like saying nothing you know is real and this world has repeated itself many times. We couldn't put together your story correctly so we took a bunch of stuff from cannon, threw it in a blender, and made milk shake for you to watch.

For those of you who played Mechassault 2

You should take a good hard look at yourselves and think about what you've done.
