Space to be filled with the best builds.

This is the mech I've been waiting for in MWO ever since I started playing it, along with the Ebon Jaguar.

An agile mech capable of recon, striker roles, among other things, is what really makes this mech desirable for me. A light-hunter with null-sig-like capabilities, jumpjets, and manueverability that puts other mechs in its weight class to shame. Sure, it can't carry that many weapons. That's fine. The closest thing up until now, for me, was the Cicada 3M. No longer the case.

I'm most excited for a 2LPL 6MG build (depends on what its weight-bearing capabilities are, might be able to field a missile rack in the arm).

knocked this one up in about 3 minutes but it looks like it will be a very annoying sniper that can wipe the floor with lights that might come to challenge it.

My shadow-cat 2xPPC and 6xMG. Fun and silly, very nice to use against lights.

So far I've been using:

Updated stock SHC-PRIME.

Fast striker SHC-A.

And... I have no clue how to use the useless SHC-B... So far because of the overwhelming levels of ECM I settled on this SHC-B. However it's hotter than the Fast Striker all laser build... I'd love to stay farther back, but LRMs are completely useless without way more BAP/Counter-ECM than I've seen and the same counts for SSRMs.

I was 1 day late on getting the bonus SHC-P, but I'd love to have it just to try something like this: SHC-P.

3 ASRM6 + 2 MLs. The missles would have +8% tighter spread, and if you use the cooldown modules fire 22% faster. Seems like a good time.

So far that SHC-P built is lots of fun. Poke with the large pulses for a bit, use masc and the mgs to run down mechs with open componets.

Btw... For me the SCH-B is a magnet for teams not worth the effort to toss them in the trash... I have 1 or 2 games in with the others, but it took me 8 matches to get a win by the barest margin in the B... and it's not because I can't play the mech, hell I soloed a DWF while playing it. Each time I get a team that refuses outright to be aggressive and with such fast new mechs the team that won't advance dies...

UAC5 / LPL has been my only good SHC build thus far.

I've run a 2 ERLL / LRM-10 build with minor success but it seems lacking.

Shadow Cat is A Specialize Mech And This is All You Need Or 3 Large Lasers
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4642c2438d939ec
2 PPC's Like The Uziel With 2 Machin Guns
But This is A Shadow Cat 2 PPC's Like Uziel Or Adder
IN MW4 I Had Allot Of Speed Jump Jets And 2 Large Lasers That's All You Need On Shadow Cat But In MechWarrior Online Lasers Suck Except The Pulse Lasers And Also Jump Jets But Jump Jets Work On The Shadow Cat Every Mech Should Be Able To Jump Like The Shadow Cat Every True Sniper A True Sniper Mech And The Shadowcat Was Not Make For Brawling But To Hit And Run And Run Fast Jump Do A 360 And Snipe And Land Without Leg Damage

Why not use the SHC-B left torso and swap the active probe for ECM?

Had some mixed results with this SHC-B packing SSRM6's and MPLs. Some matches it does well, but it runs too hot to finish off fresh targets, especially on maps like Caustic. So you have to pick your battles, hit and run, and/or hunt at the edge of a pack, finishing off weak targets.

Last match I played in the B it was me vs. 3 thrashed heavy/assault mechs (missing side torsos and/or CTs down to the internals) at the end and I feel like I could have taken them down if the mech ran a little bit cooler. Overheated just shy of coring the wounded DW that they left behind, and that was game. I think it was around 700 dmg done and 2 kills when I overheated and the DW got me. Still had decent ammo left for the Streaks.

I've run this SHC-PRIME with UAC10 and 2x ER ML far more than any other, in fact it was the one I was looking forward to all along. Plays a decent game at skirmish range, though it's a little dicey at point blank. Got off to a 9:1 kill/death ratio to start, obviously couldn't stay that way forever though :D Still around 3:1 by the time I got basics. If you find yourself dying too much from legging (which will happen against better players), drop the .5 ton of ammo and get your legs back up to full. I found I was surviving almost every match, and running very low on ammo by the end so I had to make the trade. Only lost a leg once so far.

I notice in a lot of Clan Mech threads, no one is swapping Legs, check your Legs folks.

Some fun builds, some can be improved.

Shadow Cat-B, someone mentioned a problem with it, the CT & Legs have Reverse Speed buffs.
Prime CT has better side to side torso turning, Prime Legs Accel and Decel better.
P variant CT and Legs have turn speed buffs.
The A CT has a mix of Prime and P quirks, Legs have 5 more Structure.

If you have problems with the B, try changing out the Legs for Prime or P legs, A & B Legs seems a waste.

I also notice a lot of non-team use of ECM.

Damn Raptors

This is what I used to run in MW4

except I run with dual ER Med Pulse/Laser instead of only 1

the MASC is weighting it down and not need since this mech is super fast

this was the classic pop tart mech for shooting tanks like the BullDog,Demolisher,LRM/SRM Carriers,Myrmidon and other vehicles.

I can assure you if you run 4 of these as a lance = Chris Pratt Raptors from Jurassic World

Pure speed isn't what MASC is useful for. You can use it to accelerate instantly, but what it's good for is maneuverability in a brawl.

its good for moving from a stand still and for short burst of speed

but it would be nice to have it as an option instead of a fixed mod

Here is what i have been running with the most amount of fun these past two days.

SHC-MGUNs

Its actually surprisingly good. Ive pulled in 500+ damage consistently and its also pretty tanky. I did this as a joke build a couple hours in from yesterday, but have been having a ridicules amount of fun in it.

Then again i do like my stupid builds...

EDIt: broken link is broken hold on... Okay should now work.
