Since when in the history of mankind and in the art of warfare did you read in a manual that making a base vulnerable is the smart thing to do? Why bother making a base that cant do a squat to fend of mosquitos?
Don't just say well you should defend it yourself? well... duh!!! thats way too obvious an answer but come on seriously? make a base that is totally helpless?
Sure many hated those LRM turrets but to remove them all together? its way to dumb a solution or should I say an easy way out?
there more options you can think of like;
1.) reduce the range of missiles and or locking range
2.) make them into SRM instead or medium range missiles
3.) or why not make the system work like the invasion where you have to destroy first the generators before you can damage omega. why not adapt that to the other game mode... destroy first like 3 turrets before you can do capture!!!! at least that way the other team will know and have time to react on a capture attempt
4.) etc.... etc... there are more!!!
one more thing... please put a scroll arrow on the chat window so we can review chat history... please this is a no-brainer suggestion but why is it taking too long to implement instead of tinkering with the already acceptable mech lab (old mechlab and old mech select screen) and dont try to fix what is not broken and replace it with the new crappy (new mechlab and new mech select)
Shish... every patch doesn't seem to fix anything relevant!!!
