Friendly Mechs: Now The Scaryest Things On The Battlefield

It's also happened on several occasions where I run into said teamate and the rubberbanding reads as multiple high speed impacts causeing my legs to go from fresh to heavily damaged without a single enemy in sight...
This isn't a game improvement in the slightest. Collisions with other mechs was never an issue I'd run into before this change, and yet, now, it's almost impossible to navigate maps because of other players, and it's impossible to scrape by anything... "Oh, you slightly grazed that direwolf with your Cheetah's arm? Too bad you're now glued to it and fair game for everything..." As if the Atlas stopping pebbles weren't bad enough...
Like I said, I've never come here to QQ, but this time, I just can't help it... Probably the worst change that's come along in a while... This isn't a balance issue, it's a core mechanics and gameplay issue... It's not fun, it's not avoidable, and it's certainly not something that makes any friggen sense...
/rant.... Makes me feel slightly better... Cue the haters

This also helps break up the huddled together like scared children death ball behavior. It also helps to remove the IMARAMYERCROTCHANDSHOOTYOUDEADLIGHTPILOTOFSUCKSYNDROME. This is a good thing.

I've pinned enemy lights to walls for the team to devastate, and I don't want that part to change.

And 80% of the light mech pilots are going to discreetly park their Firestarters and Jenners in the hangar and mount up in their Raven ERLL sniper, hidden safely away from the rabid stampede of the pug deathballs. Dino Might is going to run around alone in his Locust to the soundtrack of The Last of the Mohicans.

Has anyone checked to see if you can pull off a DOA now? I've been playing mostly my EXE and haven't managed a chance to try one with it. I've clipped friendly's on landing with my Cheetah, but I couldn't tell if they took damage, but my legs took a lot.

• Made a change to the way the host state rewind algorithm handles continuous-fire weapon (i.e. Lasers, Flamers, etc). This should improve their effectiveness in situations of variable latency.
• Improved the client desync issue that sometimes occurs when 'Mechs collide with one another.
"Improved" desync issue....more like added more desync with collision. Now guaranteed to desync instead of previous "sometimes occurs"

It annoys me too, but hopefully, the invariable gameplay adaptations made by everyone will see players giving other mechs a little breathing room, instead of playing like the creepy uncle who violates your personal space at family gatherings, or that one co-worker who treats every conversation as though they are going to whisper an intimate secret to you. I'm looking at YOU Tony, you creepy crooked toothed **** hole.
I think it will be a good thing, in the long run - maybe as people adapt, they will try to get their own fire lanes instead of physically forcing their way through the chest of a friendly to steal theirs.

After that, I pretty much kept a fair distance from any friendlies if playing on the EU server.

WHAT!?
Players can't leg-hump everything and running into players and buildings (friend or foe) is bad?
Say it ain't so!

I know, I know, I enjoy the clanging symphony of the friendly mech mambo as much as the next guy, but sometimes I want to move my mech without some other mechs's bits rubbing against me inadvertently.

Do you mean DFA (Death From Above)? I am actually fairly decent at landing on teammates heads, especially when spawning on the mine equipment side in Forest Colony. I have taken damage 100->99% when doing so, but haven't noticed anything happening to them.
There was also a recent match in the Griffin I am trying to Master out where all my weapons were taken out, running around, noticed red critted enemy mech (Head, CT, RT or LT, u get the point). Ran towards him and kept jumping at him and on him. Nothing happened.... well I did die at some during this nonsense.
