I've got a stalker 3F from back when it was first launched that for the longest time I was using as an LRM boat, I went as far as to get a one-use camo pattern for it, which has caused me to come to an impasse. I have since made better LRM boats, and stopped playing my old stalker, but don't want to put that measly amount of MC to waste by selling it.
The quirks of the 3F appear to support a well-balanced build, and to that end, I've been tooling around with a build which looks a little something like this-

(tldr; 4mpl, 2erll, 2lrm5, 2lrm10, yes I know the torso armor balance is off, I'm lazy)
It's a fun mech to pilot, well balanced for a wide variety of situations, and I've played about 10 pretty successful games with it. However, I'm sure experienced stalker pilots get a little twitchy when they notice something in that build, namely the XL engine. From my experience shooting at stalkers, I've noticed that losing a side torso is just the coming herald of your doom in a few seconds anyway, so is the downgrade to STD really worth it? I would need to buy a new engine (scavenged the current xl for testing purposes, don't have a STD 300 lying around) and would need to upgrade to endosteel, which is even more CBills if I don't end up liking it.
This would be the replacement build-

(tldr; mpl's downgraded to ml's, +16 pts of armor, cut 2 DHS, replace XL with STD, add endosteel)
