For me it has been for months now.

Love the ignorance though.

I have it EVERY time i visit the forums. It's bloody annoying if i want to like multiple posts and it takes AGES to like anything at all.

When a like is given the whole website stalls and i need to wait for the reload. It takes up roughly 20-30 seconds for a web page to load.

This is the only website i have troubles with.

To be fair, it really don't affect anything. You click click the like button and continue browsing as normal. You can write a post and send it and continue browsing as normal. Everything happens properly even if you don't wait for it.

There certainly seems to be something slowing things down somewhere.
I have also noticed a decrease in the pace of liking and posting. A bit irritating at times, but I generally trust it to do its work eventually.

Keyword being "eventually". :P

Here it doenst work this way.

I like and then i cant do anything because the website will not even respond untill the like has been given. Thats about 20 seconds per like.

Or when i post it gets stuck on 'Saving post' for about the same time.

Terrible frustating for sure.

Same for me, but it doesn't stop me from continuing to do stuff. I can click a "Like" and it will hang, but I can scroll down and click more "Like"s. When I reload the page, all the Likes I clicked catch up and display. Same for posts and quoting and such. I'm running Chrome.

The problem is, when you try to send a PM. Right now it needs 20-40 seconds till the message is sent. In this time I can do nothing. Even opening a second tab with the forum will result in it trying to load until the message is sent.

Have experienced this on both, my PC(Windows 7 Opera) and the PC in my university(Windows 7 Firefox).

Saving post . . .

Edit: almost as if a troop of ants is going to carry all digits over to the server.

I have to agree, there are times the 'Liking' of a post is slow. I have found that the only way to speed it up is to have another part of the Forums open in another Tab in my browser (Chrome) and I reload that Tab.

I also get slowdowns when adding a post to a topic. EDIT - forget what I removed, it happens no matter how I post, it happened when adding this one!

It's over 20 seconds latency lately.

Is the forum in Oceanic? In the back of the office, on an old laptop, attached by a cheap curly cord to the network, set next to a running microwave in a room coated in wool and walked through by people in wool slippers?

Teasing aside, it's bad. It makes my phone multipost. It's the most latency ridden website I visit and I visit a lot.

Fix plox.

They still haven't fixed the undersea cable, possible around the middle of November before it is fixed.

Had some contact with support.

They're trying to resolve the issue fast as possible.

But everything feels a little bit snappier now. So i hope everything will be fine soon!

Nope: still terribad.

Delay is over 20 seconds. That's crazy. That's a ping over 20,000. My forum ping is almost as bad as playtime ping on Oceanic :P

Just refresh the screen. I've never had that bad of a delay on the forum. Not to say they're not like swimming in molasses

The like takes effect immediately. The icon doesn't update unless you refresh.

I do believe they have their forum on one of the same servers as the game itself, judging by the fact we can't seem to ever log in when the game is down. It's an extremely silly concept, but...yeah.

So my guess is that the same server load that causes us so much lag lately in game causes the slowness of the site.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but there's a chance I'm not...sadly.

I would highly doubt that the game servers run ont he same as the forums, it it probaly more likely tied to the log on server database.
