Lol this game was made long ago. They can't remove physical copies like they can with digital.

Plus it's been out since February.

Off topic much? What you are talking about is a whole entirely different application.

This one is already in a apk, ready to install and play upon download.

From the game's description:

Do you remember your childhood and your Sega Genesis or Sega Mega Drive? That was a great time but Sega has gone but not Sega-games! Now you can play your favourite classical Sega games on your Android device! You dont need any emulators - just download and enjoy your favourite game.

id rather just get the emulator because it has alot of additional features

For mr. Burktross:
http://mobilecon.inf...h.rLCNtHwW.dpbs

Quick search showed me this site.

You upload the game and it converts it to a apk.

Unsure if it's reliable however.

I'll try it out here in a few days.

Now.... mechwarrior 2 anyone? (Probably going to need a controller...)

I actually got MW2 running on my old Nokia N900 using DosBox, and since it had a physical keyboard, I was able to remap the controls and actually play the game. Maybe I'll make a video and post it tomorrow.

I actually owned this. It was... meh. But at age 35 I still sometimes make the foot-fall sounds of the Timby walking in this game when I stomp around the house. It's ridiculous.

As did I, except it was a 3rd Generation iPad and required a ridiculous amount of fiddling... performance on it and Daggerfall was less than playable though. The original MechWarrior worked a lot better. :P

Whilst it's not the "purer" PC version, you can play the PS1 version of MW2 quite easily on most Android phones.

You just need to get hold of ePSXe for Android and the MW2 iso.

Wow this is a blast from the past. I remember playing this on the Sega Genesis a loooonnnnngggg time ago, pretty fun for an arcade shooter BT game :). Think I may still have the game cartridge laying around somewhere in a box. If I remember correctly, this might be the game where PGI got the gauss charge from, since you could 'charge' it to fire further.

Hmmm, on second thought maybe it wasn't such a good game .

dosbox turbo(as said above).

Link to the app: https://play.google....eqMJcfnoASYpIVw

However, it's 3$... :(

And like said above, you'll need a keyboard.

I played that game. I never cared for it much, but it was...interesting.

Basically it is Battletech's clone of the Strike series (Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, etc...).

I liked games like Desert Strike, but this Battletech version felt too clunky in the controls, and you're so zoomed in (your sprite is HUGE), that enemies are on you fast before you could see them.

If the controls were a bit better and you were zoomed out farther (sprites maybe as third as big), it could have been a pretty good game IMO.

I was very satisfied to find it though to be honest.

A SNES game converted into a mobile game?

I like that. A lot.

imagine you make a dosbox run on your android and play all the good old classic games.

If we're talking about SNES mecha games, I always thought Cybernator...

It's got this little thing called leadbolt, basically adware, nothing really bad or anything.

What it does:
Android LeadBolt includes apps that incorporate an advertising package. The incorporation of an advertising package that has the capability to make changes to browser settings or display advertisements in the status bar may be potentially unwanted.

Can confirm. A malware scan (for science, malware bytes for mobile) detects LeadBolt upon installation. Nothing else.

To Mr. Martian and anyone else who'd like to download this game without adware:
http://apk.1mobile.c...h-usof-apk.html

This one should work, I downloaded and scanned it.

It's clean :)
