Since the Thunderbolt hero is finally out (weeks/months ago)... expect to see that out soon™.

Hopefully it will come out after the re-balancing so people aren't suckered into buying it now right before most mechs are likely to have their big quirks washed away.

Wish there was a Battlemaster Mastery Pack before I bought those beauties. Oh well, PGI's loss.

Because you said this, you know it's likely to happen in the reverse order...

Matery - Like Ta-matery without the Ta!

I'll get me coat...

But yeah, if the Phoenix Pack was re-added for sale I suspect we might have seen a big delay for Teabowl and Wolverine heroes, but now they are out Mastery Packs have more value and priority to try and catch wallets.

Not worth it. The Top Dog is a substandard hero. Better to buy multiple 5SS and perhaps a 9SE.

They are cheap enough you should just grind them.

I wouldn't be recommending 5SS or 9SE to anyone right now Spheroid.

Straight from NGNG 133 'No more absurd 50% cooldown quirks' (paraphrasing).

Big firepower quirks are likely going away, and unless there is some stroke of pure genius to go along with it - most currently quirked and high performing IS mechs will go back to the trash heap that they climbed out of last fall.

Too many people saw things like 50% Gauss CD Grid Irons and lost their minds, when even with those quirks its still not that amazing of a mech in the grand scheme of things (it's a very good performer, in a very very tiny niche).

^When? Six months from now? Do you really expect a full quirk rebalance any time soon? I don't especially on one of the I.S. lynch pin mechs for CW.

Russ has stated several times that this will be on PTS sometime in Aug/Sept.

So "soon".

And you get a +5% missile range, and YOU get a +5% missile range, and EVERYBODY gets a +5% missile range!
