Maybe it was just the time of night, or something, but after a couple months of no mechs I was excited to fire it up again on my new computer.... talk about anti climax.
Same dual-gauss wield cheese builders match after match (which was only about 7 matches in 2 hours since it takes so long now to get a match!)


I don't know what's with the new tier system but so far not impressed. Previously it was ok cause you'd get a mix of tryhards and weekend warriors so the battles were generally decent. Now it's like try hard central up here. I know these guys are supposed to be "the best" but I don't care. It's not even like we lost all the time, we won and lost about the same, but I want to have fun matches with good fighters, win or lose, not 5 minute stomps by guys who have cheese-inflated their stats. It's the equivalent of playing Street Fighter against a good player or the guy who just Ehonda hundred-hand-slaps across the screen


I think they should reset everyone's scores and let the MM resort itself out.

It took about 36 hours before the new system sorted enough players out and it's still ongoing.

Yeah. Give it some time. Some of my friends are going through the same thing right now. They hate the game at the moment because the new MM hasn't placed them in the propper tier yet. It took me about 20 matches before I started getting players around my skill level. Oddly enough, those players are mostly the same ones I saw in the old Elo system, mostly.

Middle of the week is try hard time. Weekends bring out the fun, crappy players who make matches interesting.
