As title, when you switch 'mechs the HUD goes AWOL. Powering down and up again restores it, but it's probably confusing to someone actually new.

It happened to me when switching to the FireStarter, but restored when switching to the Dragon.

Huh, never tried switching to another 'mech with the HUD missing.

But going from the Thud to the Firestarter made the HUD go away, power cycle restored it.
Going from the Firestarter to the Dragon, same thing.

Oh, and as an aside - choosing the FS9 with 4xMG+4xFlamer... Not too many are going to pass the Rapid Fire challenge with that one...

Screenshot or didn't happen :

This also probably catches another kind of bug : if you shoot Mr. Adams - he'll make a proper payback, but you can also shoot other pilotable mechs, which causes same reaction in words and no actions taken. Shooting my previous mech down made the HUD disappear for me as well.

A logical moment btw : HOW does that AS7-D find himself on roofs ???

I'm really impressed with the work done, just reporting as much as i can :)

Several more moments :

1) After completing several rounds of a challenge one should be able to choose round he wishes to start from.
2) Several bugs in the Gauntlet and Running Cored challenges - mechs sometimes disappear, also mechs killed in previous round do not respawn in the next round. They should, randomly choosing a spawn place at the beginning of each round.
3) Surely, i've taken critical damage here ( override damaged during the Gauntlet, then stopped the challenge ).

I've also been having my HUD vanish on mech swap. A power cycle restores it.

Yep, was about to post this as well. Powering down and back up works.

I did notice this when I switched to the Ember, certainly made the rapid fire challenge interesting. I did not try the power cycle to fix the HUD, but it did come back when I switched the the Hunchback.
