Greetings all:

Please use this sub-forum for all feedback and questions regarding the new MechWarrior Academy and Tutorial.

We appreciate all the ideas that you'll put forward, but ask that you take into consideration:
  • Academy training is directed towards the needs of new players
  • Simple is better (not only from a teaching standpoint, but because of limited resources)
  • The Academy provides resources for experience players to test their builds, rather than test their skills. For example, the turrets on the firing range display the damage done to them, thus allowing the player to evaluate their offensive potential under normal, hot and cold environments
  • The BattleMech AI is very primitive. For now, there is no support for anything other than a ‘Mech that acts like a (very, very dumb) turret

BTW - The Academy is a simulator, and Captain Adams is the man in charge and has god mode turned on.
He can put his 'Mech anywhere he damn well pleases...
