Dunno if already answered... just curious if after a match the possible change to PSR are always +1, 0, -1 or the value depends on overall performance in the match?

It's pretty hard to see if a pixel has been added the the orange line.

The value depends on the quality of the match. So if you do well in a win, your rating will go up more.

Great... I wish they would show a value next to the red/green arrow.

You are supposed to be watching the orange line craw across your screen as you grind …

Same here. PGI (Specifically Paul) never said exactly how much value is gained, only that better score in a win = faster tier climb.

So if we can go +2, +3 and so on... we can also go -2, -3 I guess.

Does having a loss is more prone to getting a red or win/loss have no impact? Only played 4 matches since patch and got 2 green from 2 wins, 1 yellow and 1 red from 2 losses.

I wish I knew... my PSR hasn't changed since it was introduced into the game, it's always been a full bar on tier 1. #1tierproblems

Win loss matters a lot. You can have **** score (like 150) in a win and still gain rating, while you have to get 500ish score in a loss to still gain rating.

Not in my experience. I had one of the worst performances in a long time. One of the first out, bottom 25% of match score at 111, with only 3 assists to my name.
But somehow PSR noted improvement and bump my PSR up another notch. So in my experience it is literally possible to fail your way to the top.

But you won in those matches so your rating went up, albeit only slightly. If you did well in those wins then your rating would go up much faster. Failing one's way to the top is not accurate if those are victories--as you still contributed to your team's victory.

Now if you were AFK all match and still got rating boost, that's another story.

forget +1. If your score is positive they show you a + symbol. The movement could still be based on an average for a period of time.
So +1/1200 games is what value

I did what I thought was horrible during what became a Cap win, one kill and just a bunch of flanking shots for 300 damage and my PSR went up. Then I did really good in a loss 2 kills, 5 assists, 500 damage, good brawling in a loss and my PSR went down so go figure.
