Recently derp has come to kurita and will be participating with us on the house kurita teamspeak. This will give us many more 12 man teams, as they did something similar to our small unit built strike team in their most common faction.

I wish you good luck for this Teamspeak. It would be nice to see large warriors fighting for the Combine again.

Mechreg, I will do a force restart of the server later today once I get back from work, it could have been technical issues.

Last night during the cw challenge, the strike team defeated all comers while switching in small unit and lone wolf players. We won 5 or 6 matches consecutively, enough for many of us to complete the challenge.

That means when you visit us on HouseKurita.tserverhq.com we will be dropping our mighty Kurita warriors with increasingly experienced and efficient leaders. Our goal is to win and help you make an impact on that win.

I am sure we will be active tonight and throughout the weekend...come join us as we win back the honor and territory of Kurita.

The strike team is meeting every evening, and will be forming throughout the weekend.

Recently, we went on a winning streak vs pug and premades, but over the last 2-3 days we have taken some losses when we shouldn't have.

It seems the small laser and gauss rifle clan met as, combined with Artic Cheater and improved spotting and focus fire of our drop leaders is holding us back.

Maintain your resolve. We are working up some counter strategies.

1. We need more maulers.
2. We need to cross train more players on drop leading.
3. We need to do some headshot training for newer CW players.

Remember, upon forming our strike team, we had the element of surprise. They thought we were just random pugs and played loose, but now the top units are bringing their A game when they see some of us. Our recent loses are growing pains that will in the end...help us improve in skill, tactics and strategy.

Our biggest challenge is finding an effective tactic vs the Artic Cheater/Cockroach. My advice is to focus fire on components that are not destroyed...the cheater seems to be dividing damage as if all its components are destroyed...then redoubling this damage division for actual destroyed components...so it seems to take 1/2 or 1/4 damage. Try to keep it in the 1/2 damage components.
On defense, we need to protect our turrets to provide support vs these little indestructible ******** in later rounds.

Okay, I'm having trouble finding groups to drop with on Kurita comms.

I log on to comms and wait in the "Looking for CW drop" room, nothing happens.

I post in faction chat, someone says "pick Fen up!" and I get an invite. I accept and its one guy. I wait 5 mins and he doesn't say a thing and no one else joins, so I leave.

I'm obviously doing something wrong here. Lil help?

Got the same problem the last days. I think it has to do with steam.
We got many new players and therefore it´s easier to get a full 12 men team. Before steam team leaders looked out for every player they could get. Now there are too many players for too few team leaders.

Fen, don't just wait in the "looking for CW drop" channel. Pop into each of the dropships, ask if they have a full 12 man, if they have room for one more, and how much longer in their drop. I guarantee that anyone who does not have a full 12 man will pick you up for the next match. I know most of the regulars at the house TS, they are friendly and won't mind you dropping in like that. That's how everyone does it.

Glad to have you in Kurita. Good hunting!

Just look for the SRMx guys. We're an informal group and we'll drop with just about anyone :P
Any player on teamspeak is still better than a random pug.
