I see little to get excited over this thing, sorry.

We shall see what it can do on patch day, but honestly to me it looks like a tiny version of the centurion with shield arms and zombie lasers. It looks good!

Am i the only one who thinks that the Wolfhound doesn't look that bad? I mean, it's pretty close to what it was supposed to look like, going by the orthos and the concept art.

I like the way it looks, it looks like it means business.

IMO, it's just another light for the already saturated 35t bracket.

FS9, JR7, PNT, RVN, did we need yet another IS 35t chassis?

The more the merrier I say. Plus they all are different due to quirks. What we need in game is a clan 35 ton light. ACH is good, but its still only 30 tons.

The design is growing on me.

People need to stop being so negative.

EDIT: Especially liking that cockpit. Looking at it now, I'm starting to think it was the best of all available options.

Still loving it. The majority of this playerbase didnt exactly salivate over this thing from announcement, seems like they're picking anything to cry about at this point. Tiny with great hardpoint placement and the best 35 ton speed till the Jenner iic in dec (and this ought to be a helluva lot tankier)

What!

the wolfhound has been wanted by nearly everyone but me, I thought the TRO picture sucked, but even I wanted it after I saw alex art work..

I really should read the stats closer, this thing was built to hunt lights, and its going to be slower than some, can't jump, and looks crap to boot

Come on, it's far from that bad.

That guy is already tiny with a small profil and could easyly be a new kind of spider!

It's literally a reskinned Panther. Yes, it will be somewhat survivable. However, it would need similar quirks to the Panther to be as good as the Panther. That would mean it would outdo the Firestarter because the Wolfhound has more E hardpoints than the Panther. If it doesn't have as good of quirks as the Panther then there's no point because we have the Panther (which already is outclassed by the Raven and FS9)

Wolfhound is noting like the Panther except outward appearance. Panther has all the energy points on one vulnerable arm and must rely on CT missiles, while the Wolfhound can laservomit just fine without arms.

Almost all Panthers run 20kph slower than the Wolfhound. Only Panther which can go as fast as the Wolfhound is the 10P and that mech sucks.

I loved it in TT, but will a 35 ton energy Commando work in MWO? Only one way to find out.

Scaling is good.
Hardpoint location is good.
Skinny but blocky design true to lore is good.
150.2 KPH (even faster on WLF-1) Elited speed is good.
A variant being able to mount dual AMS is good.
A variant with DHS standard is good.

I like it. I like it a lot. Definitely looks like a 'Mech I will enjoy piloting. Would it be better with jump jets? Of course. But I think all 'Mechs are better with jump jets.

The view from the cockpit is so much better than i imagined it would be. Might be the less obstructed view of any IS light mech.

It's slowily growing on me.
It reminds of the toy robots i had as a child. I want to put 6 Wolfhound in two lines and make them blow up each other!
Since in lore it's one of the first "new" battlemechs of the IS, i think it's supposed to be awkward and cluncky, but at the same time solid.
It's like someone knew how to build a "basic" battlemech, but had no idea how to put in all the good-looking bits.
Which makes it feel to me more like a battlmech with a backgroud rather than a 3d model i drive in a videogame and that needs to always be "cool".

Wolfhound screenshots are up and the mech looks nice! Those who think the chassis looks ugly, have no pupils in their eyes. If anything, THIS is how an IS mech should look like.

Scaling looks decent. Doesn't fix ugly though.

I'm so disappointed with how the Wolfhound turned out. PGI seemed to be doing such a good job with mech designs lately, and then we get this :(.

*sigh*
