Hey all, just needed some constructive insight in building up my TBR-C, which at this moment in time was a waste in comparison to getting the TBR-PRIME. saying that, i'd rather not sink near enough a million into omnipods unless necessary. Saying that, my current TBR-C build is as follows:

Now is it just me using it ineffectively and trying to fill too many roles at once or have i just picked piss poor weaponry? and yes, rebuilds are allowed ;)

Thanks.

The primary advantage of the C variant (as well as A and D) is the CT laser mount, which lets you make builds that can bypass a lot of the burn duration/CD nerf to the Tbr. I would suggest switching out some omnipods but if you want to use what you have, you can still use a Gauss (or c-uac20) in the right arm, med laser in CT, and 2 large pulse in the left arm for an effective build

I would also suggest that you shift your armor forward (so have 8 or less armor on the back for CT and side torsos) so you can take more damage in the front

Well, the only decent build IMO that you could do with stock omnipods is what Vxheous pointed out, Gauss-2LPL, 3 tons of ammo or 4 if you feel you<ll miss too many.

Otherwise, if you're willing to spend some cbills, here are a few I can recommend.

Gauss - 5 mediums
7MPL

The 7MPL is a guilty pleasure of mine. yeah it breaks the ghost heat cap but w/e, easily manageable.

This is a modified version of the laser-based "meta" version.

2 Large Pulse Lasers
2 Medium Lasers
1 Targeting Computer Mk. II
12 Double Heat Sinks
Max armor
Arm Actuators on both arms (Smurfy's is removing one for some odd reason)

With the C version, it is better to run a modified laser vomit of 3 med 2 large pulse. use D arms for a single med each and you completely avoid all burn/cd penalties while hitting a 47 damage alpha for ~35% of your heat bar.

Some people actually run without arm actuators completely to get better overall focus fire (no side to side shake while tracking with all lasers) Makes brawling slightly worse though

I offer The loadout I bring to CW.

Exact copy, though with a bit more back armour than I usually run with, since you see to like heavy back armour. ONly one omnipod need be purchased to run it.

Try the PRYDE build. Makes it similar to the stock TBR-PRIME build, but it has the extra mobility of the jump jets. You will have to change the omnipods of course, but I've had a lot of success with this build, so definitely worth it! Been using this build pretty much since Clans first dropped.

I also like the 7 med pulse especially if lag or hot detection is an issue
For everyone else: Hit detection hehe

If you move up to 4 SRM-6, you should pair them with 6 Clan Small Pulses.
