This makes no sense. I can watch my teammates run away as the opposing team starts to flank leaving the rest of the team usually 1v3 or 1v2. If Im "tier 2" shouldnt this garbage stop or is it the typical "carry harder" theory?

PGI put me in T4 or T3 so I do not assume may teammates know WTF they are doing!

Tier 2 plays with all players but tier 5, you play with the 2 closest tiers to your own.

I'm in T3, I can get matched up with just about anyone. I do pretty good myself, but theres only so much one man can do to carry. I've had matches where I killed an entire lance solo and my team just continued to hide and eventually die, leaving me to die last and get a fifth kill in a last stand.

Bad games but good stories.

They do watch it, most of them didnt get T2 by fighting so they run.

Nobody is calling them Quadrants and Targets i guess - thus they are lost...

You are supposed to run with the team. I am sure your other teammates were thinking after the match, "Who is this idiot that did not watch the map and got left behind?"
If you want your team to hold position then say something--otherwise run with the pack.

I can't speak for Mogs but i mostly play conq and assault, so i expect my teammate to not be completly braindead and not just run in one direction. Thats right i just realised i got Skirmish open for the event...

they were running away while their back armor got strippped.......

Just had another match where the team ran the wrong direction again....I got alpha by like 12 mechs...gg 2-12

If you are getting alphaed by 12 mechs, then your positioning is off.

If Im not running away and I know where th enemy is, Im in the right position...If my team is running away from the battle...they are the problem.

If the match is lost anways, Im not running away..

Your team is not running away, it is advancing in a different direction. Standing one's ground alone against the entire enemy team is dumb in any case, unless one has no weapons.

They arent advancing when their armor is getting shot off...They are losing.

And people think its crazy that they get raged on in matches....
I watched this happen all day during the off peak today - even when I was calling firing line locations at the start of the match.

They'd be there.

I'm very aware I'm not very good. Blame this ridiculously mentally handicapped ratings system. I shouldn't be tier 2, and I am made well aware of it every game I have to drop against 1's and 2's

Yes! I have seen a lot of this too.

Entire teams just hiding and then falling back to more hiding. Lots of camping too. Eventually they all die and the enemy simply out numbers you. There is only so much you can do before you are overwhelmed.

It seems worse now than ever. I don't get why they do it.

Obviously they do it because LRMs are OP, even when the enemy doesn't have LRMs you need to be hiding and running away from them.
