the ingame voice is a good thing.
somehow not many people tend to use it.

i think one of the reasons is that a missing test mode makes configuration a pain unless its working with default settings.

to make more people use that feature a test mode in the settings section would help a lot.
see: skype or teamspeak
just let people make sure that their config is ok without starting an actuall game and asking people how good voice is working for them
