I mean, just because CW does it that way does mean it works in PUG-land, right?

It should've been a pick between 2 maps and 3 gametypes.

But at least im happy to have an option to never pick Terribad therma ever again.

I loved and hated that voting system, there would've been times where I got the map and gametype I liked and times where I got the map I liked but hated the gametype and vice versa or both the map and gametype I really disliked.

only proposal I am prepared to make is remove it, adding it is just a **** move by PGI

Generals decide what planet, ergo what map we drop on, war isn't decided by a workers committee

TL;DR, but instead of this live voting we just got, how about "offline" voting?

Give us a window in the U.I. with all the maps and game modes listed, and each player prioritize the list of maps and game modes according to his/her own preference. When the player launch into a match, MM looks at his/her preference and match his preference to others with similar preferences. If no exact match for the highest priority map and game mode, then the MM just go down the list until something clicks. Tired of a map or game mode? Change your preference offline before launch.

This will allow people with similar preferences to play together. Only want to play Conquest? Should be no problem for MM to find all the people who wants to play Conquest and drop them into a match.

i like the voting system. It atleast gives me a small chance of not getting alpine while im in a brawler. Or terra therma while im in a hot mech.

I would much rather see a lobby where you can see what map is coming, be allowed to choose a mech and chat with team and enemy while waiting for everyone to join.

And nobody plays CW because of the crazy long waiting times.

That would increase MM times and reduce match balance quality by a lot.

limit the choice from 4 down to 2, this way its still random and we just pick the better of the 2
