Yeah just report them in game and move on, you made a good tactical choice in changing position considering your loadout. Guys that make comments like that tend to be bad players with superiority complexes that never really stick around anyway, so not worth letting them bother you

Biggest problem right there, way too many all concerned with solo play. Hint: MWO is a TEAM GAME IN EVERY SINGLE GAME MODE.
Though much of the raging comes from overly timid and scared play from people in the solo Q. Many of the dead "whiners" end up dead because they are trying to do what is needed to win I.E putting forward pressure on the enemy mechs. Whilst most of the team cower back afraid to take a hit. Sorry to say that IS what is happening in the vast majority of the matches and if you take offence to being called on cowering well....stop cowering?

This Is competitive, it's player vs player and egos will flare as will tempers. Some of these "masters" you ridicule do know much better than you do, if the team had backed them up instead of cowering they might be alive and not having a go at you.
Sometimes, these guys have a 100% valid point and you should take it on the chin.

Whenever it comes down to the last player on each team, and they're still actively playing, I try to stay positive in chat even if in reality I'm screaming at my monitor about the mistakes they're making. I mean, hey, they're your only hope for victory, hurling insults at them is hardly the smartest thing to be doing in that situation, right? So... a tip-off if I know something about the enemy that they don't, and otherwise the only thing that needs to be said is "nice driving" or "good try" depending on the outcome.

Unless, that is, they're fresh and have obviously been hiding the whole game while everyone else did all the work. Then the snark comes out.

I love when people trash talk me in chat, because I either:

A: Do way better than them in the final standings
B: Win the match for us with my few remaining teammates
C: Live while they herd others into doing stupid strategies they think are foolproof in any situation, and when they all die, somehow I'm the coward and the one who lets the team down (for lulz, really?)

I think they look idiotic and when I get s*** I find it much better motivation to take our team to victory. Don't let it get to you, just turn their crap back in their own faces.

The only thing i see wrong in those two screenshots are you using Foul Language ONCE AGAIN after you said you were banned for it for 3 days....or maybe this was pre ban.

Yea it was this match you did 33 damage me only 69 ( ty to guys who bloked me.) but my screen explain your story a little bit better when yours explain just how our team was bad..

And second yea i was on this position before you.. like all matchs in frozen city i run to B4 ( for push B3 not stay behind teamate or hold position waiting cored people come to me like some ) and well we spawned in same lance, my hellbringer is faster than your TDR... 5kph faster it's a fact.

Yep i was the first to shoot from left side of this buiding then shoot from right side then surprise i can't move back to cover someone hold position whitout moving on middle of this little building/house !! Yea someone is bloking me ty...( and i see ya, wasn't moving for shoot just waiting there in my spot, waiting for someone give ya lock or for one red guy come ask a hug??)


But you can rewrite the story as you want. Everybody has his own mind and have be to happy with it

I dont need apologies because you bloked me, i need good pilots don't block others teamates specially me in this case. I need you open yours eyes not only about red triangles but about blues one too.

We have enough bad pilots who block each other cause they are blind and we have to carry them right..?
Good pilots could find their own spot and stop being selfish instead block someone for make him leave position like you obviously did.


Well i took this screen only for report you for obvious suicide after stupidily bloking, thing i didn't because i don't report for one mistake or act.
But don't remember you had only 33 ( only one alpha it seem, be faster take the spot first next time or just find another one they are many on this area.) yea i enjoyed your screen TY.

Hmmm...

I never suicide by running out of the map or overheating on purpose and I never insult other players using profanity.

Instead I fight to the bitter end dying in a blaze and if I want to criticize others I use an educated language.

Works good for me. Maybe you should try it too.

That's funny. I don't know any of you but can picture it. I definitely talk above average trash but it's absolutely justified. Like someone bringing a trial mech or a dual flamer locust to my tier 1 game. Or most recently a single assault going over the saddle to flank on Crimson. Those people cab join PGI in hell. But yeah. I'm frequently the last alive because I'll use underhive pugs as bait. I just hope everyone sticks around to see the amount of carry I brought so they can rethink their lives.

Just turn off chat when it gets to you. There's no reason to rush turning it back on. Fortunately I have encountered very little of this kind of talk, but one time when I did I switched off chat and left it off for months. It is rarely used for strategy, and it's even more rare for people to listen.
