Qkd-4G(C) - 1000% Missile Cooldown?

Seems to be a bug for this variant only. Slot LRM5 on it for extra lolz. Seen a stream today, where they used it in private matches.

It overheats so fast because you trigger ghost heat multiple times. Fire in bursts, lads.

First, grateful that PGI kept the structure and even some weapons quirks for the Quickdraws. I feared that without SOMETHING, the chassis would be effectively dead post-"dequirkening". PTS-4 has given me a bit of hope.

Second. Holy Crap. If these quirks are maintained for the champion this will be my new Huggin. Max the engine and load up on ammo kids! WOW. Such fun.

Just got wrecked by 1 Streak2 on this mech. Regular model has a 10% cooldown so it obviously a typo. Fun while its there though lol

You've got a Ghost Heat limit of 4, but you're firing ~50 times in a half second period...you engage LOTS of Ghost Heat.

You realize its a bug right? 1000% means you fire continuously, the DPS is huge, and you overheat super quickly. Don't chainfire them, just hold the button down and you will see that its obvious that this was a typo in the XML file, nothing more.

Well I'm just saying, it sounded like you didn't grasp the cooldown effect when you compared it to Huginn.. its like... so much more than a Huginn. Literally a continuous stream of missiles.

Have you actually played it? I mean yeah, it is pretty rapid, but for 1000% cooldown it surprised me that there was even that much of a discernible pause between shots. I expected machine gun SRMs. I expect it will go back to the 10% it was before (I think). Oh well. Probably aren't bothering with it as it is after all just the test server.

On a more serious note, assuming the SRM quircks get nerfed to reality, it seems off that the 4g(c) has some better laser quirks than the 5K.

tested it once with 1 A+SRM6 in a live mach, it overheated and broke the heat scale, my heat was over 100% but i did not die and could keep on shooting at a speed of +/- 200 missiles a second...

i ran around for a minute with 100%+ heat before i found and killed the second guy..
