Something drastic needs to be done. This mech is a joke and the money spent on the hero was basically stolen.

Only, that a Commando can outgun a Direwolf in long range sniping with ER LLs... but otherwise go ahead and whine about poor IS mechs...

Well, it's a legacy of old times when 4 medium lasers was a good knock-knock and there was no clans around with their compact and light probe (So everyone and their mothers bring one).
It's not a problem of a single light though, it's a problem of all the slow light mechs. All of it bolted to the quirks that look good on mediums, but not lights.
Take a look at locust, for example, Guys like V-version get the LPL that happen to shoot as two of them, with bulk of extra structure, ridiculously small size and sick speed. In the meantime, commando can't have even 70% of it's speed, taller, got MASSIVE head hitbox, and like 30% cooldown quirks? Really? I think PGI should stop thinking percents and start thinking "Effective hardpoints", "Average damage for loadout (For non-energy stuff)" and "breakpoints".
Here's the one for ya - 33. That's a double gauss in your face after trivial initial laser wear'n'tear.
