[Warchild Corsair]

Greetings Mechwarriors of the AFFS!

The two regiments of the Phoenix Legion [PHL] have been hired to support the loyal House troops along the border of the Confederation Capella. We have signed a two week contract (with our usual option to prolong it for another two) and will fight for you where our employer wants us to. Our main combat window is the EU timezone and we have our own TS, but will send envoys to the Davion TS to keep the line of communication short.

Our current contact concerning all orders from the Davion High command towards us is General Alyward, Head Hunters of Davion.

In this post, I will collect battles and reports from our fights versus Liao troops.

Going to reiterate the TS bit. We'll fill out drops with you and as a given rule we happily follow direction.

We coordinate fronts and drops, anyone with the cbills generally has 8+ mechs geared for most drop deck requirements. PHL has a great and we'll deserved rep, we have plenty of pilots to help you fill more total drops.

Even if it's just being entertaining while awaiting our turn to fight the most dread and successful Liao units (their turrets) we're happy happy to drop with you guys.

Lots of brave talk from Davrats here, maybe if you started defending your planets you wouldn't drop against turrets so much?

I know the galactic map is hard on you, what with all those words and numbers and all but, outside of HHoD the only Davions I see are the PUGs you leave to fight and die whilst you're busy posting on the forums about how brave you are.

Id also note that, since you havent made any advances against us of late maybe those Liao turrets of ours are maybe a bit TOO elite for you?

What I see is a Marik trying to make friends with the faction he's been at constant war with for three successive iterations of CW to compensate for a largely merc-driven conflict with his longest standing ally, and not seeing why this is a bad idea, or that Davion-led betrayal is the only inevitable outcome of this path.

You missed the part where you emphasize that it was your faction's ineptitude at managing said mercs that initiated the end of your little NAP, and how house units like TCAF ultimately finished it off.

Mercs hired by other Mercs, not by Liao units, thus giving us no sway over them tbf.

It was more than just TCAF they just had the numbers to get the tags. WoL and Lords were in on it too. Still that isn't what.you missed.

What you missed is that Marik is no longer tying up 50+ Davion troops every day plus Phoenix Legion and their 60+ active troops just joined Davion. Whatever ghost drops you were seeing last week are long gone for the duration of the crisis.

Marik Mercs blocked TCAFs attack lane to Liao, then attacked TCAF when it was cleared.

Some Mercs do not play by the rules of their employers as they should. Unfortunately.

Yup, and now the Loyalists get left with the aftermath.

Fairplay to you guys, I saw your posts in Marik and liked what I saw there, if more Mercs conducted themselves like you we wouldnt end up with so much fallout.

If only you'd been better briefed on not cutting us off from priority targets, or, more appropriately, if only we had some way to attack planets we want to, rather then being at the mercy of PGIs randomised attack generator.
