[Reno Blade]

My Marauder 3RS use the 5S loadout (PPC/Gauss/ML and XL engine) while the BH2 uses the dual Binary laser (aka, 4x LL/LP).

My Whammies will probably be close to stock for the Hero/Special variant if they also have 50% PPC speed quirks.
The arm-weapons are important for me (hey, I even use my big guns in the Timbers arms instead of torsos), so I will try to keep them where they belong to

I wonder, if all turn/twist speeds were slower and arms had more range if they would be more important than the current torso-mounted king?

like I said I want to agree, but I need to find a mouse with the right ergonomics on that thumb button. Have used Ghosts, Rat7s, etc... and always end up mapping consumables there because of the ergonomics.

Adder has it, actually. Not a bad mech with twin ERPPC, actually, though I put them in the torsos just because I could. Those arms get vaporized easily. Small enough and fast enough to hit and fade, and the quirks let the ERPPC move fast enough, and it dissipates juuust fast enough to work.

Summoner would benefit so much from some decent ERPPC quirks given its hardpoint limitations and built in JJ's. This needs to happen.

i think as always meta is slow to adjust, because even with the last agility nerf I feel the arm weapons are more important than ever.

Since you're rebinding 1-4 to your mouse buttons, those keys are available for consumables; four keys should be enough for that, no?

Also, if you haven't tried the MX518, try to get a hold (argh, pun...) of one. If it fits your hand and gripping style it's an excellent cheap little mouse.

Edit: Damn, just checked. They don't make the MX518 any more and the ones for sale are NOT cheap. Damn, now I've got finding another mouse to look forward to when this one breaks

I like having my coolshot and airstrike available on my mouse hand if possible as I find I hesitate les with it with the thumb buttons, and it doesn't matter as much f I slightly shift my grip.

hmm. looking at it, still have to roll my thumb to use the buttons, that's my grip issue, usually. I really want to find one where at least one button rests under my thumb.

There's enough resistance in the thumb buttons that you can easily grip the mouse on the actual buttons; they need quite a firm push to depress. Although, it might be moot; see my edit above.

Can suggest g600 mouse, Bishop. Can even set it to detect what game you're playing. Have a pointer, middle, and ring finger button for groups 1-3, and a thumb number pad (if you're a righty) that you can rebind as needed, which I use for groups 4-6, though I only ever use group 4, and only for tertiary weapon systems or weapons that are self guided like LRMs or SSRMs.

the thumb pads look just about perfectly what I want, though I also really like the weighty feel of my Ghost and RATs

Not sure about the particular model but most of the Razer mice felt too light/skinny for my hands. I was used to running a Logitech Dual Optical prior to that though which is a nice feeling heavier mouse. Right now I switch between that and a Steelseries Diablo 3 mouse but I also have issues using the thumb button without changing my grip so I'm in the same boat.

Actually, I think I did used to have a Death Adder. It wasn't super high resistance on the thumb button, but I didn't often accidentally click it, either. I just like having a thumbpad mouse since it works great for Diablo 3 and MMOs, as well. XD

The problem is that Razer devices are hit or miss. Either they hold up well, or constantly break.

yeah, I'm a logitech guy because most I have had are built like tanks (my RATS performed brilliantly, but has 3 lasers burn out in a year and a half) and the cord to my Ghost went south.

Problem with my logitech are they are mediocre ergonomically, most often.

I donno. I find the g600 extremely comfortable. The buttons I slaved for 4-6 are very nicely placed where my thumb rests naturally. The only hard bit was being careful with my ring finger so as to not accidentally trigger group 3. Bonus: the color is customizable on the numpad.

I use a g502, logitech proteus core, and I love it enough I bought a second for my laptop.

This is the mouse I use and I rate it highly because you have 3 main buttons on top. The Death Adder is ergonomically better though (depends on the person's hand and preferences), and its 2 thumb buttons are probably the best.

seems very well shaped for that, just do agree with their uneven reputation for quality.

g600 looks good, but almost TOO much there for a simple minimalist like me.

right now I'm back to using what I consider the best bang for buck, all purpose mouse, the g510. Get em all day long for 20-25$ never seems to need new batteries, the laser never wears out, they are accurate, etc. Heck they even have just the right amount of heft to not feel cheap...I think I own 3, lol.

If someone put a death adder set of thumb buttons on it, TBH, it would be just about perfect.
