Hey, at least our leader wasn't declared pants-on-head-insane and replaced by his psychotic daughter

No, ours are:
Blue -White - Red -White -Blue

It's ok, you'll see more of it later, on former worlds of yours.

I like having rights. That and I can't stomach even make believe tyrants and dictators. There are some neat things about the Draconis Combine but I find the feudal society there to be abhorent. The FWL is a political fiction and an insult to actual free people. The Lyrans are just to politicaly corrupt, and incompetant, and House Liao's truthfulness about being a monsterous society based on opression and instituionalized brutality in no way mitigates or justifies the fact that they ARE that cruel to their own populous. Add in real univerities and think tanks and how can you not want to fight for them. Unless of course reading scares you...then go someplace else.

Ok, tell me about a right that you as a davion loyalist have, that I as a part of the capellan state do not own.
You have the right to do as you are told.
You have the right to voice your opinion if your government doesn't do what you would like it to do, but you better not act on it.
You have the right to believe that every state, except yours, is illegal.
You have the right to believe that you have actual rights.
Those are your rights, if you like it or not.

If you want rights, you should join the Free Republic of Rasalhague. Everything else is lying to yourself. Which, of course, is also a right you have.

The confederation is the only state in which all people know the truth about their nation. Rumors about brutality and opression, are just that: Rumors! Sure, that Maskirivka is feared. But only by those who want to harm the nation. Loyal citizens have nothing to fear and they know it.
The worlds under the sunsword are, what the catholic church has been in the dark ages, before we became a spacefaring race. They believe, that they are lead by a rightous goal and a god given leader on a crusade, that in the end is nothing but lies and a grab for power.

Take your rights and put them where your sunsword doesn't shine, because that's all what they are good for.

[of course, this is all in character]

Hanse Davion was what got me into House Davion in the first place. A leader who was willing to fight with his men on the frontlines if need be, a man who made strong strides at fixing some major educational problems by supporting the New Avalon Institute of Science and a man who was willing to make alliances with the Steiners and even part of the old Capellan Nation in the St. Ives Compact.

House Davion's combined arms military doctrine and its use of solid mechs of all weight classes also made things easier when picking sides.

I served a long tour of duty in the Davion Guard kicking the **** out of Smoke Jaguar (Mechcommander!). My loyalty will always be to Davion,

I can sum up my affiliation to house davion in three words:

1. The
2. Warrior
3. Trilogy

if you havent read it, and you claim to be a Davion, I would say we need to run a backround check to make sure you arent a Liao or Drac spy.

Because I heard the women were hotter.... :) I just like Hanse's style. Kinda like the U.S.A of the Battletech Universe, sort of.

It doesn't matter because it's the generalized perception of House Davion.

My friend James who loved riding a Marauder always played the Dracs (weird since he was Chinese) So i kinda just wen to it, I liked the faction description in the rule book and after reading The Sword and and the Dagger I was hooked. Then Fox's Teeth came out and it was game on!

Throughout all of the books and information released over the years, the Davion's have always portrayed the most similar characteristics that suit me. The large military force didn't hurt either hehe.

But really, Davion's have always called to me, so now it is time for me to answer.

I have always been a Davion fan, since the dawn of this game!

Even when the Clans were released, I still found myself drawn to the Davions.

I will admit to being a Wolf as well, however.

The inner sphere leader that has earned my respect and loyalty is Hanse Davion through this actions and deeds. unlike some of the other despots who revel in a culture of fear and loathing *cough*kurita*cough*lao*cough*

Beside who doesn't love stomping cappies (mushrooms) and snakes ;)
