I can`t do anything, and this bug seems to appear more and more oftenly.

Try either :
-Clicking one of the other mechs, then reselecting your actual mech
-pressing ESC
-Alt-tabbing out and back into game

One of the three things tended to help so far, lets hope it helps you too

Naw, it did nothing. I alt tabbed, escape, clicking, everything I could think of. It just wouldn't do anything. Had to wait until the match was over.

Yeah, sometimes you have to quit the match or the entire game and relaunch everything. Then rejoin the game in progress. I get that error a lot.

Have you tried running the repair tool? Something may be broken.

For those that may not know how to do that:

If you run the stand-alone client: launch the patcher, click the gear icon in the top right corner and hit 'run repair tool'. Once its done its thing if it comes back with errors/missing files just hit fix and let it download.

If you run through Steam: right click MWO in your library, go properties>local files>verify integrity of game cache. If it finds any corrupt or missing files it will re-download them.

if you leave the game you will get a penalty when you try to play again

I had a bug last night and thats what happened to me

not sure what to tell you maybe others might

There's the "you left a match and must wait X time" message, but I almost always rejoin the match in progress and have not seen any penalties. (other than my mech destroyed before i get to log back in.)

My workaround for this (works about 90% of the time) is to press esc, go into the settings menu and change a graphical setting and hit apply. When it applies, it clears it.

Workaround, this just happened to me too.

Press ESC
Click Exit Game
Launch MWO
Sign-in
Click Mechlab
Click on a mech inside the CW match
Click rejoin in upper right
