I am only interested in mechs that offer something different. As it is, many current mechs can be modified to match the loadout of favourites.

For example, the penetrator can be played by the marauder, the cestus / caesar by the cataphract.

Hence I am really looking to

1) big engine 60 ton in the form of the IS Exterminator
2) weapon focused 75 ton in the Night Gyr
3) weapon focused upright clan omni light assault- savage coyote
4) timberwolf beater in the IS Dragoon
5) upright IS heavy missil3 platform - crusader/bandersnatch

I would be excited for new mechs if they actually were being implemented to fill a role or niche. But now, it just seems like a Pokemech got-to-collect-them-all mentality when it comes to adding mechs. This is especially true when you have PGI just asking what mechs the players want them to create and sell. Everyone is running around buying these mechs for nostalgia or hoping that they will be 'good', but PGI has no plan or direction for the content they are adding to the game.
