Which pattern is used in the Alpha lance challenge image (with red and white colour)?
Could you post some pattern idea for marauder and warhammer?
Thanks!

You're still better off buying one-shot camos (unless you change them VERY often)

PS
Is there a thread with some pattern / Camo ideas for the various mechs? I know that I can "try" them in the mechlab but I'd like to see some pics of the varius pattern/colour on the battelfield.

To be honest, i don't think i've EVER seen a one-shot camo pattern sale.
But even without sale those one-shot camos are much better value than even the discounted permanent camos.
If there's a certain pattern you really like, just buy the one-shot for it and enjoy. It's *only* 75-125 MC per shot.

Guess I'm grossly mistaken. Thanks for the heads-up! I might have to buy into this with my event MC.

I only get free ones, or the odd one on sale very cheap.
People who pay money for access to a HEx or RGB color code are suckers. PGI wants to you pay for them as if they invented them.

There was one-shot pattern sale along with perma ones. Clan pattern sale many months back. I bought quite a few one-shot Clan Wolf and Falcon patterns during that sale. So it is not completely impossible to expect other one-shot patterns will also go on sale one day. One day.

Ah.
I must've not registered it ever happening.
Because i don't care even a little about clans. Don't own a single clan mech AND PROUD

Still. I wouldn't count on it ever happening again.

if your a person that likes to chop and change camo on a regular basis, then this is as cheap as your going to get, and is probably worth considering, and is worth it for chasis that have five or more variants.
However in this case only four, and if you like to look over make a choice and keep it forever, then single shot is the only way to go, as even half price its still 50 mc more expensive.
as others mentioned, never been a single shot sale

When I got the Warhammer pack I got a 'single use' (misleadingly named, it isn't single use, it's lost if you change it) Faction camo for the 6D and 7S. The BW can't be changed and the 6R(S) has the collector paint. I think we also have a free unlocked camo with early adopters (polygon?) and a second one we got in a contest. I did much the same on all the other Newseen packs.
So, even if I had Warhammers (or other 'mechs) to repaint, and wanted to spend buckets of MC on a chassis-wide permanent unlock, which one would I paint?
And why wouldn't I spend less MC on 'one-shot' patterns that I just never change?
