It's an elite FWL unit apparently. Commandos I guess?

Found this under the 3rd Oriente Hussars section of sarna

In 3063, Force Commander Therese Mathews, the unit's executive officer replaced Colonel Dumoss.[4] The regiment equipment has been mixed ranges of from ancient to modern equipment from Word of Blake Militia. The unit Tank force took brunt of Operation Guerrero had not yet recover its losses from battle with Republicans. Infantry forces, formed from Van Diemen's militia are badly under equipt and its commander suspect they would not survive battle should they placed in one.[5] After taking command, Colonel Mathews begun to trained her new command in art of precision strikes. These style which she learned while when she served with elite Eagle Corp. Her commando training saved her from six assassination attempts on her life over course decade. Unknown to most these actions were of actions of the Word of Blake.[6]

This is a tricky one! Whether the "freak training accident" that killed Simon Walther was truly one or merely the machinations of a deeper conspiracy (signs point to foul play on behalf of a faction of ComStar's ROM to install a new commander friendly to its interests) it is clear that Kallenberg is more than capable of taking command of the Free Worlds League's elite special forces unit, known as the Eagle Corps.

Transferred in 3045 from the Atrean Hussars after a meteoric rise through the ranks with excellent reports of his combat abilities and keen political and tactical judgement, he soon became second-in-command under General Walther. He possesses a bionic left shoulder, which he received after it was shattered during a fight on Solaris in 3043. Michael Kallenberg is also noted to habitually wear his long blond hair tucked under a baseball cap while on assignment, which on occasion causes friction with generals that are more formal in their methods.

When the reactor in Walther's newly-acquired Axman suddenly imploded under mysterious circumstances, Kallenberg took temporary command. Soon after rumors surfaced implicating ROM agents in the area, the Eagle Corps were ordered by Captain-General Thomas Marik to locate and neutralize the assassins. Kallenberg returned to Marik with two captive ROM operatives, completing the mission successfully. Impressed with his performance, Marik gave Kallenberg permanent command of the Eagle Corps.

Wait a tick.

If the Eagle Corp is the secret commando force for the Marik intelligence service, why would they be advertising who their commanding officer is?

Some secrets are better kept than others.

It doesn't help that they sing "Secret Agent Man" really loud while on missions.

Long before I founded this ragtag outfit of ne'er do wells I cut my teeth with the 3rd Free Worlds Gaurds. That was the most professional soldiering organization I've known. Let's just say that the best recruited from amongst the best. I could say more but then I'd have to kill you...and since no one is buying my bullets today...

As for Eagle's treatment of information...think of what you hear as the jab. Keep your eyes on that. The uppercut...well, you never see that one coming.

Heh heh heh. Good quote on the waiting for the ink to dry. I prefer waiting till the first half hits the account then cutting loose a series of LRMs and Heavy Laz rounds.
