Bought myself all 3 of these beauties as soon as they released for C-bills, and I'm having a ton (70 tons) of fun in them!

-They have a 'bit better than average' hardpoint selection.

-Movement quirks make them feel like a 55-65 tonner.

-Hardpoint placement is amazing. Try running dual Gauss on the 6R, it just feels so right to have both rifles right below your cockpit firing so close together!

-Hitboxes seem very balanced, easy to spread damage.

-PPC quirks are God Tier

What do you all think of the Warhammers now that us poor plebeians are able to pilot them?

We already knew that the Warhammer is a good mech. I'm glad that you like it though! Did you pick out a good camo for her?

Structure quirks on it make it very hard to kill.

They're definitely a competitive mech, but at 75 tons it should be.

Good hardpoints.
Tight hardpoint clusters.

Yeah I enjoy my warhammers.

I bought Whammy 6R and loved it since it available on C-Bills. I build it with 2 LPL, 4MPL with STD 300 Engine and I think I'm doing fine. I wish I could buy 6D and 7S though, but I don't have empty Mechbays...

They seem to work well with XLs, too. I ran purely STD builds for a while, but they were just too slow in CW. Threw an XL 340 in my 6D and have not looked back. Spreads damage very well, and of course the quirks and large engine make it easy to twist.

Overall the WHM is probably the best of the IS unseens, and in general a very capable mech. The variety of hardpoints between the variants ensures it will likely stay relevant in some form even after future balance changes.

I enjoy the Hammers but think they are fairly redundant. Honestly haven't played since I mastered them. Had a hard time finding unique builds that weren't flat out bad. Kept one close to stock just for nostalgia. Others are pretty goofy...for a Warhammer.

Yes the quirks are nice on them but still the arm mounts aren't much better than a phract and the load outs are all doable or already done better by other mechs such as the BK, Ghopper, T-bolt, Jagger and now Archer. Only one that really stands out to me is the BW which has for many replaced the Pharact-IM as the go to AC/5 boat (in the heavy class anyway).

Warhammers?

Worst piece of junk i ever bought... I don't think i'm ever going to buy an early adopter package again. I'm happy with my Marauders anyway, they're perfect!!! In fact, i designed my FW dropdeck to drop 3 marauders.

Shh... don't let them on to the secret Vindicator meta. Only Tier 1 meta players know about it!

I do better in the marauder than the whammy, but both are great mechs.

Black Widow with 4 x AC/5 and 9 tons of ammo is beastly.

I ran my 6R with a gauss, two erppcs, and 2 mls, that was fun. Now I'm running it dual gauss and 4 mls, elited the other 2 but kinda don't enjoy them much, might need to have another go.

Bought the Warhammer for nostalgia and barely touched it since. It's too sluggish, too hot, and too squishy. I much prefer my Marauders. And my Archers. And pretty much every other mech I own.

When I feel like playing IS but still want to play my Hellbringer I play a Warhammer. It might not have ECM, but it has 5 more tons and better hit boxes :D
