My guess is you didn't have 100% perfect shielding and he knocked your arm off when it was a little exposed. Or he had a friend sniping at you that you weren't aware of.

I love when people never had something happen to them so it must not be real.

Like i've never had a hart attack so it's probably just people with bad gas.

Ugh, do not even get me started. I will *not* run dual AC/5 in my Marauder simply because they both go poof simultaneously as soon as the armor is breached with both reliability and consistency.

I have never had just one get crit, it's always both.

80 drops...
I have close to 1000 drops in Cents and I've seen this happen a few times but I've never had this happen twice in a row with the exact same situation. Left arm crit, ST lost.

huh...If a PPC hits u and explodes, it has made contact with your mech. Unless you are near other objects.

I run 3 and this has never happened to me, usually just one gets crit. Maybe bug if only 2 are equipped? Maybe you just have some bad luck? I wouldn't bet it all on black or anything if i was you.

You just lose the entire torso in that 3R.

It was so consistent that I just changed the load-out entirely. Not that the MAD-5M is a good 'Mech, though; it is the easily worst MAD variant. The whole chassis just doesn't have enough quirks (or spread enough hard-point placement) to compete against the WHM, but the 5M is particularly bad.

I understand the mechanisms behind a myocardial infarction. I don't need to have experienced one to know how or why they happen.

On the other hand, none of us have an evidence-based explanation to what OP described. I'm just presenting an alternative and perfectly logical explanation to the situation besides "RAAGH THE GAME IS BROKEN".
