Hm permanent on sale for 5 variants is 375. You know what else is 375? Getting one-shots; all different camos or same which is 75 x 5 for 375. Same price more flexibility if you don't want 1 camo or only a few variants.


Clan camos:

750 permanent for 5 variants. Or 150 one-shots which is also totals 750 only if you get for every variant which you probably won't since 1 and 5 aren't the most popular.


TLDR: even with 50% sale, permanents are never a deal.

... unless you are constantly changing your camo back and forth, which some people do. I might unlock the Wolf camo because reasons! And depending on the decal system I might want to change back or do Beta Galaxy schemes or whatever.

Permanent unlocks at full price aren't great value, but if you have 5-7 variants (5 + hero + the 1(S) variant) you should consider permanent unlocks while they are still on sale.

Very true, I didn't realize some people like switching it up. I always decided beforehand how each variant will look and one-shotted them and be done.

I don't do it very often, but sometimes when I get some new colors unlocked I go back and see if any old mechs need an overhaul. Experimentation is a good way to burn through your MC

Orly? You kind of stated that 50% will make it equal 1 shots for 5 mechs... so it's a deal for me. As others mentioned you can switch back and forward while 1 shots do not... and I do like the KDK-1 quite a bit. On top of that: I am planning to buy doubles of some variants when they are out for c-bills because this is afterall my most favourite mech in the entirity of BT.

Planning on 1-2 more KDK-1's, a KDK-2, a KDK-4, and that's about it for now (thus upping my number to 8-9 kodiaks.
-shrugs-. May not be worth it for you or a good deal, but it is for me.
