Did PGI label it wrong, or did it get Uber quirked?

Dude these rescales are exactly as stupid as we said they'd be. Look at the 35 ton mechs. I thought they were backwards for a minute.

I thought the Grasshopper wasn't getting taller, yet it got taller AND larger. WTF. Black Knight got blasted in the face too.

Look at the Executioner, it's DOA at that size.

Get Scarecrow in here so he can tell us again how this SCIENCE is infallible.

I'm literally refunding every mech that I have on preorder over this.

Did you read the process actually? Seems just a wee bit more in depth than volume.

"Just in case, please note that these silhouettes are captured using an orthographic camera, whereas the Re-Scale comparison images in the above links are taken with the standard MechLab perspective camera. As a result of that difference, scales may appear slightly different if comparing 'Mechs between the two images."

Kindly keep panties unbunched

Lol... .love it. I think I may have called this some time ago in one thread on how this was going to be screwed up - that the Stalker would get smaller. Supposedly, the Awesome is also going to stay the same size, and thus be totally worthless forever. While keeping mechs of the same tonnage at around the same volume is a good start, it doesn't always work and it is not the end all of balance. Also, if they didn't actually make mechs of different tonnage brackets have appropriate volumes when compared to each other, the whole thing falls apart. Ugh.

My biggest complaint, the Timber Wolf, one of the most competitive mechs in the game is smaller than both the Grasshopper and Black Knight? And both of those mechs are as tall as an Atlas?

1 dimension does not bigger make.

TBR and Marauder pretty approximate. Hopper still gangly as hell so overall width/height pretty misleading.

Honestly I don't think we can accurately judge the new mechs that well until we actually play them in their new forms. The Adder is slightly larger, but many lights alongside it are a LOT larger, making them more uniform.

Well, looks like it got about 1% bigger. The biggest issue with the Adder is that it suffers from the MWO implementation of TT rules. It's supposed to be a small and slow, but powerful light mech with significant firepower. Well, due to how Omnimechs work in MWO (e.g. no hardpoint inflation) it doesn't really have all that crazy firepower. Moreover, its firepower, even with quirks and everything else, doesn't compensate for its lack of speed.

In my opinion, only Locust 1V-level acceleration and agility quirks can save the Adder.

The rescales look awesome... other than the messed up shoulder on the hunchback.

we are given a complete size comparo sheet with them marked off in meters even. Only thing more we realyl need, IMO, and I asked Alexander about it, is a list of what % up/down each mech was changed.

Looks like the Viper will be awesome. More armor and guns, but as small and faster than the other lights. Lolz.

It did get a little bit bigger but not enough for it to make a difference.

The game is look at mech pixels then shoot mech pixels. One doesn't need to play the new Grasshopper, Black Knight, or Executioner to see that they'll be even easier to shoot at their new sizes.

I didn't even pay attention to the comparison chart at first. As I said though, mechs are now more uniform so while the Adder was always on the large end comparatively, other lights around it are similar in size now. I do wonder how Jenners will perform now, that's a pretty decent increase.

For that, you need to see IS Lights (the Sadder is currently terribly scaled...then this)
