The 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment (Clan) will be establishing itself as an independent Mech Corp.

We will be fighting in support of principle based objectives for select Inner Sphere Houses and Periphery Kingdoms.

We are a mature and developed clan of military veterans. Our only requirements for membership are that you must be 18 years or older to apply, you adapt to a disciplined organization (not tyrannical) and you enjoy good fun and camaraderie.

We have several Veterans from the Regiment of Mounted Riflemen.

I served several years with the 3rd ACR when it was a Fort Carson, with two combat tours in Iraq. Also spent 7 years as a 19D, before going to the darkside ( Air Cav).

We have a great clan that is involved in WoT and we are looking forward to operating as an independent corp in MWO.

Scouts Out!

I remember around that time, Tiger 5 calling me in to bust a house with a Hellfire missile for Crazy Troop. Took out the 2nd floor and grabbed some refuel at Q-West before continuing mission.

1st Cav replaced the guys on the ground, but I think a national guard aircav unit replaced you guys, their callsign was Blackjack on freq 888. We located what we though was a VBIED on tampa right outside the city then all of a sudden all these orange tracers come zooming from the sky down the road and turns out they found the real VBIED.

Chizarre, are you with 11th ACR now? I went to NTC like two months ago with the 79th IBCT rotation, had a lot of fun.

I'm already with another unit, but good luck to you all. I did an OIF tour with Heavy Company from Saber Squadron in '03.

I am currently serving with the 11th ACR, 1st Squadron, Scout 1. Big change of scenery as there are only 2 scout platoons in this regiment.
My platoon unfortunately did not participate in the rotation with 79th IBCT. We were in the middle of unstabalized gunnery at the time. We participated with the Full Spectrun Ops rotation before you with 3-3 ID, and also with the Afghan rotation just after you with 4-2 ID.

I hope you guys got some good training and learned a few new things while you were here. It's what this place is all about.

Hey, I was Tomahawk 4/3 from '97 to '99, after returning from Germany -did a short tour in Bosnia-, and I ran the ALSE for the whole Regiment while Mr. Thompson was out flying Apache's and SFC Boyler -I think- was busy sitting on his can, waiting for retirement. It's great to see 3rd ACR faces come in here.
