It will feature giant robbits and men in armored suits who can jump (think them as elementals)!

intro is great again - all the other GW 40k games were lame, but always liked the Dawn of War games since day one. (although German version only available in Germany....for DoW - the synchro let you want to vomit=

Yeah Relic has made some great games (especially the Homeworld series).

I am not addicted. No.
Not the slightest.
Really.
I swear.
....but I play less and less. From several hours a day to a few at weekends. I don't care about events anymore. The only thing since resistance 2 I've bought was the Kodiak. Slowly, but surely pgi is losing me, as a customer and a player.
I have the feeling I'm not the only one ...

But I don't play a game just for that.
I simply still enjoy blasting, melting and pummeling Big Stompy Robots into small pieces.
Then again,... the only grind I have to deal with is the one I don't want to pay for with GXP,...

I guess I stick around because I still enjoy playing the game in small doses.
It might be the whole Battletech connection or the fact that I seem to do far more poorly with other online shooters, but regardless of the reason, I still enjoy small play sessions with MWO every now and then.

What keeps me here is quick play, I can drop into the game play a few matches, maybe set a self goal to fully unlock the (annoyingly useless) skills for a chassis or tool around in my Centurions. It helps that my wife loves watching me play, we've been trying to get steam link to broadcast my games to the TV for her but I need to run more wires to make it work (wirelessly it breaks once it gets in game). That helps keep me playing.
What doesn't help is trying to justify the cost anymore, my friends mostly stopped playing which sucks. A few asked if "x-mageddon" was over and if they should pick the game up again, I struggled to give them a reason to. I enjoy it, but I can't play with them. We can't drop with the 1 - 2 of my friends that would play without throwing ourselves into the group queue which became very disappointing last time we tried, no one finds getting repeatedly kicked in the face fun.
Until the Cyclops I picked up most of the mech packs, usually going to the early adopters. Trying my hardest to hope that PGI was going to start listening to the community and fix the fundamentals they need to work on. I just can't, I do want some of the new mechs but the desire to keep opening my wallet for more of the same broken mechs is starting to hurt...
(I started working on the Phoenix Hawks recently and they feel like they need a lot of work to be decent)

P.S. I loved Front Mission 3 and 4. Great mech RPGs.
Yea it's great when playing Front Mission Series while waiting HBS Battletech. Front Mission 5 is Great too and Thanks to Fans English Patch we can play with ease.

It's a little hard for me to believe, but I'd probably pass on the Wasp, Stinger and Crusader at this point, assuming they even get released. I really want them, and want to see Alex redo them, but MWO has failed to deliver time and time again. Why buy 'mechs when I won't enjoy playing them?

And sure the artwork is top notch
This is my only PVP game I play, and I actually would prefer an offline experience
So putting all 3 things together:
I'll probably be gone for a year or longer once BT from Hairbrained comes out ;-)
I like Mech commander as well

my hatred of GW won't allow me to. People wanna talk about PGI as cash grabbing highway robbers? GW makes big pharma and big oil look like amateurs.... and tbh their fiction stinks.

Crusader, Vulcan and my Beloved Assassin are the only things I would likely open my wallet for, and the Crusader depends on which variants, how well Alex does it justice, etc. If Alex does his usual wizardry, and the CRD-3L is in the base pack, I might have to turn in my sobriety chip. The Vulcan is more murky, because as you know, I have a pretty strong vision of who I want a Vulcan to look, and it's one of the few designs I think Alex would have trouble topping (though if he does...well SCHWING)
Even my Assassin would depend on hardpoint inflation. And it's probably the least likely since with only a couple variants, not only does it need a "P" to even happen, but it doesn't have any "reinforcements" for them to do a cash grab with.
Also..will admit I would be curious to see how the Charger came out. But doubtful I'd be curious enough to buy with IRL money.
