Greetings Tournament Warriors,

As of the latest Tournament Client maintenance update we’re receiving reports from a few Avast users that their software is flagging the Tournament Client for quarantine. So far Avast is the only instance we’ve received of this issue, and it doesn’t seem to be affecting all Avast users. However, we've identified a potential issue with the recent build of the client that we believe may be causing this. We have scheduled a maintenance period to address this issue tomorrow, Friday July 15th at 1PM PDT (8PM UTC).

Until then, if you are running Avast and are experiencing issues with updating or running the Tournament Client you will need to manually clear the MWO Tournament Client from the Avast quarantine list.

Removing the Tournament Client from your Avast quarantine:
1) Right-click the Avast icon in your Window taskbar, next to the Windows clock
2) Click "Virus Chest"
3) Find MWOClient.exe in the list
4) Right-click it and select "Restore and add to exceptions"

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused with your matches or training!
