Why did PGI pre-nerf them (Kodiak is not shown) by giving IS color pattern/scheme with paint covering all of their body? They only have minimally viable chrome and don't look as good as their sister robots!

The shiny paint on the Clan mechs looks stupid anyway.

Thank you for a good hard laugh, and yes, it is odd that it's base color scheme is NOT like other clan mechs (including the IIC's) and instead mirrors IS mechs.

Question now is how will you tell new players the difference.

I fully expect to see something like that for the Night Gyr and onwards.

Looks like we're past the point of pretending to try.

I do like the raw metal look. Once you apply a paint scheme, it looks a bit like a plastic miniature.

In all fairness though if you consider lore, the clan mechs -like the IS ones- wouldn't be committed to a house style.

Eh....wouldn't think to hard about it.....
Just means PGI found a few more millimeters to shove down the "standard of minimal" for Minimally Viable Product. Nothing be too surprised about! Posted Image

I always hated that you had to buy a camo on clan mechs if you wanted any kind of visible colors on most of them.

You can do some ok stuff on IS mechs "just" with colors... Clan mechs? Got like 3 lines of color for the whole mech, rest metal look.

I literally couldn't stand them being all grey in mechlab, so i either put a camo on them or sold the clan mechs i don't use.

Also: camos on (I) mechs pls.

1. Gun metal looks like garbage

2. How do you view and save the contents of the new mech portrait section? The user gets locked out if you try to snoop around in a higher directory unlike the old portraits. I desperately need a new signature graphic.
