Smoke Adders continue to make waves throughout the Inner Sphere as the invasion continues.

Join one of four Clusters depending on your interests (running the gamut from the purely casual to the highly competitive).

As part of Faction Warfare, we are one of the longest affiliated CSJ units in the game (but no longer loyalist due to the mechanics of the mode itself), and formerly "chaired" the Smoke Alliance during Community Warfare's initial hey day!

We are running multiple teams in the 2017 MWOWC, earned a tightly contested top-10 finish in NA last season (among 81 teams), and have multiple teams involved in MRBC, the premier and longest continuously running community competitive league currently in MWO.

While we do not "open recruit," we encourage folks to try us out to determine if we are their kind of unit. No commitment to apply to drop with the team as we continue to assess new players coming on board with us to see if they are our kind of player.

With the patch on June 20th introducing the competitive queue already, things will get hectic quickly. To round out our teams, we are still looking for a handful of competent players interested in competitive 8v8 as well as players interested in helping us renew our efforts in faction play!

The Smoke Adders (Theta Galaxy of Clan Star Adder) are now invading a variety of locations in FP and continuing to expand our competitive sides.

We value a team-play approach that welcomes disciplined initiative, and tactical patience but aggressive play style. We seek players with the drive to win, to learn as part of the unit and to have a good time. Whether you are interested in casual stompy robots, competitive play, a bit of lore-related fluff or some combination, we have a role for you within our Touman.

If you are interested in a TEAM that:

• has no mandatory events
  
• maintains facets of the Clan-canon such as Trials of Position, Zelbrigen duels, Grand Melee, Trials of Bloodright and other Clan style events that folks can choose to participate in or skip
  
• believes that highly organized, synergistic game play is the most important aspect of winning
  
• can embrace the fun of casual play and then turn on a dime to conduct 8 or 12-man competitive play
  
• runs dedicated practices and scrimmages against other units both to prep for competitive play and to just have fun

We organize in three Clusters (per the lore), with folks volunteering for the environment that best suits their available time, interest levels, competitive interests and skill levels:

502nd "Strike Dragoons" Cluster - primarily casual players, time limited players, folks just interested in the BT franchise, or shooting mechs up.

505th "Silent Death" Assault Cluster - for players with a more competitive streak, who are very team oriented and want to regularly compete in more organized events.

373rd "Winged Vipers" Cluster - for the resident "try-hards" of our unit, this Cluster can be applied for but has additional expectations (skill level, commitment to practices etc.)

All of our pilots participate in FP when they choose to do so and we have dedicated leaders who promote that portion of the game by leading DROPDECs, an aspect of the game we intend to return to with our previous gusto!

We have players involved in the:

• Proxis planetary league
  
• PGI 100k World Championship
  
• MRBC (where we intend to field two teams, one in a lower division to allow folks to be introduced to competitive play against appropriately skilled opponents)
  
• and will be re-joining NBT once it returns to league play.

We operate on the 512-person TS Clan-Hub server, and whether you are looking to apply, just looking for some drop-mates or just want a place to host your own unit, all are welcome to come by.

Due to RL constraints, we find ourselves short one of our regular pilots in our upper division team and one to two in our mid,division team.

Seeking one very strong pilot, capable in all four weight classes, although at this time you would likely be piloting mostly mediums or heavies, to work out with us and see if both sides are a good fit. This is primarily for Netbattletech matches, where matches are limited only by the tonnage for each match and the mechs your team produces or seizes in salvage as the game progresses.

Additionally, this would be for any future seasons of MRBC or similar leagues.

While we encourage anyone interested in organized competitive play to give a look, we are specifically looking to fill a hole in that upper division roster. No application required to work out with us and see if we are a fit.

Primarily NA, but work with AP/EU opponents to find reasonable match times for both sides as,much as we are able.

Our goal is to keep learning from the best around us, develop as a team and break out into Division A - NA as well. In Netbattletech, we control the Clan Star Adder faction, involved in multiple fights per week against various opponents and with the multitude of Division A teams in this season, we are going to be facing some of the best.

If you're on of those tryhard pilots, one who feels that can gel with a team and contribute immediately as a potential starter, we're looking to bring someone like you in, tap your perspective on upper tier play and help the team get better. The roster for our competitive teams are deliberately limited to 12 people at a time, because competitive folks don't like to ride the bench, and we want all 12 pilots to get into the rotation. With the frequency of scrimmages and matches available in NBT, that's never a problem.

For those who might not be quite ready for Div B+ competitive play, we have a second team that competes in the Div E (introductory level) of MRBC and will be fielding a Div C/D team as well with experienced players as well up and comers.

This team spot is for this persistent season of NBT, for the next season of NBT (that is likely not until after the holidays or NY) and for next season's MWOWC. We came in 13th at the "bell" and feel with a bit more time, practice, and quality perspective, we can break into the top 12 and be a real threat in the future. If you're looking to solidify a team that started at the bottom and climbed all the way, give us a look. If nothing else, come drop with us, see if we're a fit (as we'll be looking at you the same way) and have some fun blowing **** up. No commitment necessary until you've decided.

Smoke Adders has been hit very hard by the Real-life Virus and is in dire need of an active, upper tier player interested in NBT (and future iterations of MRBC/WC etc) that can bring a ton of mechs as a potential starter with our first team.

Additionally, we have room on our second competitive team for those still learning competitive play, faction warfare, etc or wishing to do take the plunge. We are a relatively high activity unit with players on regularly (Saturdays are our weakest nights), primarily in the NA timezones, and while we do not make events mandatory, we are looking for those actually interested in grouping up for drops, moreso than folks merely looking for a tag.

The group I have been playing with has gone defunct and only a handful of us still play. Personally, I would like to join a unit that can field organized drops for FP. I have looked into MRBC and found it interesting, I have played in earlier versions of NBT from MW4 and it was cool too.

I'm in the US central time zone and play 4-5 nights per week and teaming for drops is what I am looking for. If NBT is still a mech variant specific league I have been around since closed beta and have about 160 mechs. Plus the C-bills and GXP to buy, load out, and skill out whatever else might be needed.

My buddy xCatfishx would probably want to join as well. He's also pretty active with many mechs. Both of us started the mech franchise back in MW3.

MRBC has a post NY projected start date and NBT, MWO's only persistent sandbox style league is still ongoing. We are looking for dedicated, high activity pilots!
