Battle of Midway

Thinking about starting it after the regional finals, or are people too burnt out ?

Also to try something new, bumping it to 5 V 5

I'm interested, but I have no idea how burnt out I will be by the end of the regional finals. I haven't played a single official match and I'm already ready for it to be over.

So interested, depending on the burn out factor. I also enjoy the tonnage limits vs weight class. And depending on how the revamped assault mode with bases goes, I wonder about the possibility of a designated attacker / defender mission mode for Comp games.

MRBC is the elephant in the room too.

As you lot already know 228 is always keen for comp. I think MRBC S8 will be well contested for 8v8 with only 6 weeks of commitment and 5 varied drop restrictions. Hence, I would suggest against running BfM concurrently with MRBC in the interest of participation. (228 can play in both at the same time if required)

4v4/5v5/6v6 all sound like fun. What helps BfM is that it traditionally has run over a short duration, has much more open roster than WCs and is more inviting to units "having a go".

Let's keep it 4v4 for now? I kinda like it at a small scale as opposed to the 8v8 of MRBC

If you want to do 5v5.. can I suggest a kill the commander mission? with the extra "1" being the unit commander....

My $0.02

I think November through December would be a good time to run it. Give people a month to recover from the W.C. and train up members who didn't get to participate

Dec is a write off for most people.

Beer to be drunk, meat to be eaten, partying to be had :D
