Appears that the test patcher is the only way to download the content... which prevents all users from being able to play the live game while waiting for the PTS download.
Is there a stand-alone download option for the PTS? (If not, something to think about for future PTS events?)

Most people shouldn't download and play a multiplayer game at the same time anyway, since it can lag them out

If you want to get technical about it, proper throttling and packet handling with a commercial grade router would make your multiplayer game unaffected by your download.
That's besides the point though. This is more an account oversight.

I just want auto restart built into it. Its a pain when your having connection problems but want let it download for 19 hours.
