So now the Urbie is going to be a stealth mech? Panthers are going to be electronic warfare? Lol.

the specific role should vary depending on the mech. each mech should have its own skill tree and module slots that reinforce its specific role.

and how would an urbie be a stealth mech? its far to slow for that. obviously its not a role suited for urbanmechs.

the role that makes the most sense for the urbanmech would probably be an electronic warfare/defensive support mech. similar to the kit fox. since its lack of speed wouldnt matter when its supporting slower heavy/assault mechs with its electronics package.

You realize harassment is a combat oriented role right

yes but its not a primary combat role.

the goal of a harasser isnt to rack up kills or damage. a harassers job is more to distract and disorient the enemy.

its inherently and fundamentally different from say a striker, brawler, etc... and requires a completely different playstyle, skill set, and loadout.

It's job is to do both damage, kills, and distract enemies. Harassers should be some of the best kill stealers because of their ability to hit cored mechs hiding from the main body from the flanks, it's job is to do enough damage to pressure the enemy into bad situations or kill them out right. Sure it won't be putting up dakka Kodiak numbers, but lights should be able to do this better than they currently can, and especially with power draw as low as it is (RIP 6 ERML Jenner IIC).
