i couldn't sleep cause it woke me up wondering if my vid card can handle that much are and keep my FPS up where they are now. i5- 3550, 8 gigs ram, Nivida 550Ti

the 24 inch also has the amd freesync, but i have a nvidia card so not sure that would do anything.. and yes i know the prices are not the same here, but amazon has it cheaper, and the shipped prices are basically the same. My main concern is will my set up actually run the extra screen at decent FPS

So i DL'd test, and was all ready to go, but when i turned on my comp, my monitor would not come on.. the thing has been acting weird, and has had no power button for years.. *(used a power strip to turn it on and off) But it crapped out, and i had to plug in my old 17" Crt.. Oh my god the glare! How did i ever use this?
But i am not up on what is good for a monitor these days, But i do like asus products, and saw some nice deals over at newegg...

Can anyone recommend one of these for me? Like is 60 or 75 refresh better? higher better? Is the 1ms, or 5 ms better? Lower better right?
Or if you see something else in this price range that would be a great deal.. Kinda shooting for around 120-150 with rebate.. and with my Vid card, a 550TI, i don't think i can go up to a 27" and keep my performance aka FPS at a decent rate. My guess, in an other year or two i can go bigger with a 1080, or something around those lines, but for now i think it could be too big.. (i have a 21.5 now, so 23-24 is a decent increase anyway.
So can anyone help me out.. Talk about a total crap weekend to have my monitor crap out on me!
