Well maybe then KDK-3 is the problem not TTK. Big surprise.

I can run 30dmg C-UAC alpha spam on far more than Kodiaks. From EBJs to DWFs and a lot inbetween. Kodiaks are just accentuating the problem because they're much more nimble and beefy (at the same time) than other 'mechs that can run those builds. A DWF isn't as problematic because it's slow and has low-slung weapons.

The Kodiak is merely shining a light on a problem that's been there for a while.

I think slowing down the damage stream allows the target a chance to avoid some, or spread the, damage, which means it is not game over for that player.

I am pretty sure that 210 is a large enough sample size. I know of another game where a similar number of people cast a vote with 80% against a decision the dev team made. The devs then went ahead and said that the rest of the playerbase (which didn't vote) automatically agrees with their decision.

In other words, they're convinced that the silent majority automatically agrees with every decision they make and therefore automatically invalidates any polls regardless of the number of voters.

Are you familiar with the story of how MW:O got 3PV?

Thousands participated in those polls. 95% against.

Sound familiar?
