You remove charge time and give an option of mounting those 4 gauss on mech as whined before, you will get this:

All the stats, and the only way to balance it is a charge mechanic?

Do u remember how OP as **** the AC20 used to be, some time before we got clan mechs?
It still has no charge mechanic. It was simply nerfed...

Just don't ask me how to play using a joystick. I leave that to you.

Charge is a good mechanic for gauss, that way they don't have to nerf dual gauss into the ground.
Big relief for, I was afraid they would go with that horrible ghost heated solution on the previous PTS.

A dual-stage trigger is a trigger that has two "clicks". The first click activates when the trigger is pulled half-way. The second one activates when the trigger is pulled all the way back.
The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick is one such device.

Macros may make it easier, but they also tend to waste ammo. Overall I say they're worse and players are better off not using one.
HOTAS setups are an entirely different matter, though.

On the other hand, I never wanted the 15 damage CERPPC. All it really needs is velocity. I'm a huge proponent of high cooldown rates on larger weaponry like PPCs and Gauss Rifles, so I find it going back to a 5 second cooldown as disappointing.

Poptarting will never be the meta again unless they buff Gauss, PPCs, and jumpjets all at once. Jump Jets are worthless in most combat situations right now, and are usually just a big "Hey, shoot me!" sign if you try to poptart with anything outside of the like, 3 mechs with proper speed to their jumps. I don't want it to be the meta, I just want it to not be me fighting the weapon instead of the enemy.

I have a Gauss on my SCat and can poptart just fine with it. I think this is where the saying "get gud" comes into play, or how about just get better.
Yes it's a bit more difficult to poptart with Gauss than say PPC or any other point and click weapon but it can be done and once you get it down you will be very dangerous.

Trust me, I know it's possible. But it's still fighting the weaponry. I prefer fighting the enemy over trying to determine what exact shade of green/yellow my bar is so I can fire or not. Yet another time I wish PGI would give proper colorblind support, but I digress. I've been making do with the charge-up, I just highly prefer it being gone. Especially because I'm constantly in a state of "Oh, there's a mech I could have shot if the charge-up didn't exist, but in the time it took to charge up, he walked back into cover." on the live server.
